Secret Santa DELIVERED! (Or whatever we’re using for our titles this time)

Came home to a package outside my door! I haven’t yet placed my orders for my family’s Christmas gifts so I knew what this was!

Good thing too! I discovered today I could’ve ruined the surprise for myself when I was checking my Amazon wishlist. Thank God I only had to have a few hours of patience.

The haul! Other than the Alan Moore Swamp Thing trade paperback, all of these are items I placed on my list because I could never bring myself to spend the money in order to own them. I was waiting for some crazy good sale. And Pop Vinyls are always more expensive than I think they should be. So getting a box full of these goodies is fantastic!

If you couldn’t tell, I’m a Green Lantern fan. I co-host the nets longest running GL podcast. So I’m glad to have the mug to keep myself hydrated while rambling on and on about my favorite character! And I adore Spider-Gwen. I was already reading the individual issues of SpiderVerse at the time when she made her first appearance so I was on the ground floor when she came on the scene. As for Swamp Thing, I only recently caved and added those to my wishlist. I know Alan Moore’s Swamp Thing is iconic, but I just never had the desire to read it, until now.

But that LEGO set though...

Yeah, it’s clearly for kids with the activity book and story and everything. But it’s the only way to get a LEGO official John Stewart Green Lantern minifigure. And the more Green Lantern sets, the better! Seriously, what better concept to introduce to a toy line like LEGO than something that requires unlimited willpower and imagination to be a hero?

The completed set! The rear wing design kinda reminds me of the Nova Corps ship design from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1. Ironic given the Nova Corps that Marvel created is their rip off of the Green Lantern Corps.

All in all it’s a fantastic gift! Thanks so much! Now to wait and see what my Secret Santa thinks of her gift (which I ordered today)!
