I want to apologize for my response to you earlier. Apparently I had some pent up rage I was sitting on that got channeled in your direction. After having some time to think on it I realize I was in the wrong. Sorry.
I still believe that most reasons for homeschooling are bogus, but I would be willing to cede some exemptions for extreme circumstances. I think it really is a disservice to the kid however, and should be avoided if possible. The current system needs many changes, not just a ban.
