My cat Tom is currently on the operating table at the vet to get a lot of his teeth pulled - he's been suffering in silence, so we never knew how bad his teeth were, until now.. They just called to say that more teeth have to go and the jaw is so weakened that there's a risk of it breaking when they pull the teeth. I'm so scared and I feel like the worst person in the world for not getting him to the vet sooner.
Let this be a lesson for the rest of you. Please check your pets teeth and get it done before it comes to this.. :(

UPDATE: I just heard from them, the operation went well, the jaw didn't break! He's heavily sedated and I can bring him home in an hour.
