I did all the right things and got covid cause my kids' school district and my state's Dept of Ed refuse to do any of the right things.

This. Wife and I are recovering after my kid brought it home from school. Now we get to quarantine and mask up for the next couple weeks.
Worst part is, our district had no policies in place for us to keep the kiddos home and keep up with class and only allow 5 absences a year.

We are all fine so far. The kids are barely symptomatic and I had a cough and a headache for a day. Thanks to the vaccine!
