No child his age could have done anything that merited being kidnapped by terrifying, armed men and imprisoned in a detainment center where he is given bad food and water, and he isn’t being seen by medical professionals when he has been very ill and stopped wanting to eat because of it. This is a heartbreaking case but for those wondering why not just release the kid to his mother the answer is because the kid is undocumented so even though he's so young, the rules say he doesn't get to stay. As for his mother so far it's uncertain if she's a mother, step-mother, father's girlfriend or what but it really doesn't matter because, again, the kid is unfortunately undocumented. He and his dad hoped to stay on the 'CBP One' program but Trump cancelled it in 2025.

It’s true because he has been reportedly vomiting and very ill, and even stopped wanting to eat because they have been serving him bad food and dirty water. I know the news is horrific these days. But we can't turn away. Now is the time to join/create community to help the most vulnerable. Use whatever advantage/privilege you have to help those being targeted. That includes immigrants, LGBTQ+, women, veterans, people with disabilities, the environment. These groups need people fighting for them. Its good to take a break from the news. But dont stop and forget them!
