Hey there, just wanted to share our group cosplay from C4 Comic Con today.
My friends and I paraded around in our Halo costumes, me being the one on the right (grey). This is my third scratch build costume, and my friends' first one. They did a pretty darn good job and I'm happy with how well we all looked together. I mostly go to comic con for the cosplay, and showing off my creations. It's gives me great pride when I see people stop and look at my costume, or ask for pictures. It's even better when you get to talk to other cosplayers and just chat about the process.

Andrew DFT on youtube is where I got the base of this costume. He put out templates and videos to follow along. It's Reach though, not 3

Reach was the best one I think, after 3 (it's a classic). I don't mind the new stuff but it won't ever live up to its predecessors

What material did you use for the visor? Window tint sheet? I used blue acetate with a gold spray paint mist that worked meh but not enough

Yeah I got some cheap plastic folders from dollarama. I applied a mirror window tint sheet to it then cut of the shapes I needed. I wanted..

To do a blue visor but the tint made any color of plastic chrome after the application so I used a clear plastic so I could see. Visibility
