Hurricanes happen in hurricane areas during hurricane season. Just like areas that are prone to wild fires, tornados, blizzards, etc. If a hurricane made it North Dakota from the Gulf, I'd be concerned. This is just a natural phenomenon. Not every natural disaster is the apocalypse. I know this will get down-voted, but it had to be said.

The states that are most tragically affected by 2025 are the fools that support it. Leopards eating my face?

It also wants to ban porn. It classes anything to do with the lgbt as porn by default. They equate porn to child exploitation and want death sentence for said child exploitation

I think there's a very real risk that we'll end up with LGBTQ death camps in the US within my lifetime and I'm baffled at how few people seem to be concerned about it.

2 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

We just call them conversion camps. Torture queer people until they get rid of themselves.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Hey now! Not just LGBT ones, they'll have death camps for all sorts of people

It's like the writers for this season are just throwing shit at the walls to see what sticks.

This season? Been a long ass season.

Look, we had peak viewer counts during the COVID arc. And now that we have gone through most of the mid season apocalyptic events and inciting incidents, all that's left is the finale. But investors wanna string it out for profit, so we are trying to put in some filler before the Climate Collapse Finale. I'm sorry, but we are trying our best at the studio.

I still want to know, who holds the properties- where the new harbours and harbour cities will be. That prediction does not go away and the rest is - sesame seeds.

That's not how this works!

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Right! Just look at Rodanthe, NC, and those houses fell into the ocean before the hurricane.

In the aftermath of the historic flooding in Houston from Hurricane Harvey, it was revealed for decades developers had sued the city to win the right to build tract housing in low-lying areas and greenbelts for cheap housing. The old maps showing the greenbelts and protected lowlands pre 1990s and the neighborhoods worst affected by flooding were nearly the same.

Head in the sand...while they still have some beach available.

There will always be beach available, just further inland lol

It is western North Carolina that Helene flooded. (And eastern Tennessee, which isn't even a coastal state.) None of which makes your statement wrong, but it might affect where you buy your future beachfront.

Kansas beachfront, coming soon
