Kind of shocked that there isn't, to my knowledge at least, an Evangelion Abridged out there. We've gotten so many of them after Dragonball Z Abridged started up, and that one in particular just seems like its popular and weird enough to be perfect for that treatment.

Entirely possible it's one of a raft of backups created back in the days when you didn't need a phone number to sign up, and they just get used as one gets banned for whatever dumb reasons the modbots decide.

People would make a bunch of accounts just because they could. If account A got banned, they could start using account B which has been sitting there, ready to go.
