Prognosis: Bad Luck

One day at work (IT director) start having seizures that would not stop. I was taken by ambulance to the hospital where they were unable to stop the seizures so I was put in an induced coma. Each time they tried to pull me out of the coma I would start seizing again. 61 days later they were able to successfully pull me out of the coma without seizure, it was September 11th thru November something, the day after Thanksgiving I believe, when the doctors asked me what year it was I responded, 2012. I still wake up thinking I live at my old house in San Antonio and only have one child infant (he's 8 now and has a brother), I keep forgetting I have a second child. I had to learn to walk again which I don't remember but my wife has all the pictures and videos of me in during physical therapy. When I watch them, it's surreal to me. My short term memory is non existent and I have to be reminded all the time of things. On the plus side I get to experience life sort of brand new. What caused the seizures you ask....Nothing that the doctors could ever pin down, I'm not even or was on anti seizure meds before/after my release, just bad luck I guess
