I've never once had a stylist this good. I wanted a change once and went to a nice shop that cost like $100+ for a haircut and they just did the exact same thing they do at supercuts for like $15.
Hairdressers are like your fave mechanic. It takes forever to find the right one, but once you find em, they work magic. Because tbh many hairdressers also need to sell you products and things you don't need because they are the expert and they have a quota to fill. But some are there because they are doing what they love, those are the ones you wanna find.

For real. I go to independent barbers near me because I want to support local and they charge 50 dollars for a haircut that sucks more than the Super Cuts one and either way my wife has to clean it up at home. She's not a stylist. She's a teacher.
I used to do the same, but now that I’m in my 40s I’m pretty bald, so I just buzz my own head down to a 1 guard at home every other weekend. I actually have to do it this weekend.
