Ah.. the currency of the little blue thumb.

So glad this didn't turn into a Pitt's Tots situation.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He's not passing up a chance to promote himself.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I heard he sleeps with sunglasses on.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He only calls himself Mr Worldwide because he has no control over his travel arrangements?

2 months ago | Likes 59 Dislikes 1

I would love a trip to Kodiak.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

no, that was like... 3 years ago, not 14.

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

An excuse to visit Alaska? Heck yeah!

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fuck the Waltons

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Seriously. I expected better from imgur.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He really is worldwide

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Of course the Kodiak Alaska Walmart has a giant stuffed bear lol.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That is very cool, but also, who wouldn't want to see a place like that. A win for everyone imo.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And got paid more for his appearance than all the employee wages combined.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

So, about $3.50?

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Dalé

2 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Ya tu sabe

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why would you do that to those poor Alaskans?

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Unlike Taylor swift who had the same thing happen to her, except it was to perform at a high school for deaf kids and she refused to do it.

2 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Can't charge those kids 3000$ per seat so it ain't worth it.

2 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

Okay so taylor had nothing to do with the school being removed from the contest that was purely the organizers doing. In fact after she found out it happened she organized a bunch of the sponsors and donated like 50k total to the school and a shit ton of musical instruments to the schools music program and sent the kids at the school all tickets to a local concert she was doing.

Used to work with a guy who looked *exactly* like Pitbull. Unfortunately that guy sucked shit though.

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

like.... with a straw???

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm really surprised given the content of Pitbull's songs and art that he hasn't had any significant MeToo controversies lmao. In fact, he might be one of the cleaner acts with respect to being a creep.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Why is Freddie Kruger there? #3

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That’s class!

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Walmart destroys communities

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

white guys: 0
white güeys: 1

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why would he really care? Other than being a bit more trouble to fly there than usual it's just a day where he travels to a random Walmart, does a quick show, and Flys right back home again.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It’s one of the most beautiful places on the planet.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Kodiak is really fucking beautiful, they also have Puffins and Bears

2 months ago | Likes 80 Dislikes 0

Many years ago, I used to go up to Homer to record Tom Bodett for the Motel 6 campaign. Really fun if you go the right time of year. Fantastic halibut fishing.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh my!

2 months ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

Stay out of my head!

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

You can't call yourself Mr Worldwide and NOT go to places all over the World

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I’m not diminishing what he did but it seems like it wasn’t a huge issue for him to go since it’s not like he was required to do anything overtly strenuous due to this. If anything, he knew he would get a fun trip out of it and a chance to promote himself some more.

2 months ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 3

Yes, but also a lot of people disliked him for some reason. The "internet hijacking" campaign was really mean spirited, intended as a middle finger to him. When he went and was gracious to everyone despite its intention as a punishment, he won a lot of people over.

2 months ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

The only reason was he's more of a club music kind of guy and his music kept ending up everywhere, so people got burned out and decided to hate him. Kinda like Nickelback got all the hate being played everywhere. It's not fair on them, but it happens. I have no issues against Nickelback, but it's been overplayed on the radio to death.

All the postings I saw telling people to vote for kodiak weren't "haha, it would be funny if we did this", they were "fuck this guy, send him some place miserable".

2 months ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Like me, that whole situation was handled perfectly. I know the voters did it to be mean, but he played along, and the town got put on the map for it. He basically owned the trolls.

2 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Kodiak most certainly didn’t “get put on the map” for this. It’s been a pretty well known city for quite some time. Largest fishing port in Alaska, it’s a major transportation hub, and has the largest Coast Guard base

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Mr. Worldwide is a solid guy.

2 months ago | Likes 397 Dislikes 2

He is too. I don't even like his music and I love the guy.

2 months ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 1

Except that he supports dog fighting

2 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 16

I thought that was an urban legend like Richard geer and the hamster? I can't find anything online. I'm sure he's been around the scene because he dealt drugs as a kid though. The more I read about the guy the more surprised at how much of 'not an asshole' he's turning out to be.

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Didn't he do private shows for MbS?

2 months ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Yes he did.

2 months ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

I always thought he was a dick just from his music. Apparently he uses his plane to transport cancer patients. How did I not know this?

2 months ago | Likes 99 Dislikes 1

Sometimes the people who do good are doing it for the right reasons…

2 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

What the hell? He actually is a genuinely good dude? I totally thought he was a douchebag. Don’t judge a book by its cover I guess

2 months ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 1

Holy fuckin shit the man is a saint

2 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Cause that’s not remotely as interesting as scandals, unfortunately. We live in a shitty society where the inflammatory is the most wanted content.

2 months ago | Likes 54 Dislikes 0

He seems cool, but also gross. This seems like it's a pretty awesome thing he did. I just don't trust celebrities to be all that great

2 months ago | Likes 149 Dislikes 9

Not to be obvious, but this was a promotion for Walmart, which in itself is already gross enough. They've been responsible for the deterioration of American economy. Underpaying their workers, killing rivals (specialty stores and mom/pop shops), fixing prices on anyone that sells through them, etc... their CEO family was the richest family in the US for a long time, and they're still up there.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That is completely fine, though allow me to say that you can respect a person without liking them.

2 months ago | Likes 70 Dislikes 1

He seems like a pretty cool dude. Most definitely better than the celebrity in office atm

2 months ago | Likes 61 Dislikes 0

That last para tho

2 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

That is not a high bar to cross though...

2 months ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Why does he seem gross?

2 months ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

Don't know anything about pittbull personally, but his music and music videos have a lot of hip hop/rap tropes that are derogatory towards women.

2 months ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 2

Yes. That tracks. Fair. Thank you

2 months ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

He did a private party for the murderous crown prince of Saudia Arabia in 2015.

2 months ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 3

Adding context: Khashoggi was murdered in 2018.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Another good reason. Thank you

2 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Like how my reaction to seeing companies sponsoring youtubers is to go "oh, that's a scammer, I don't trust them anymore". :D

(Hi, established titles, betterhelp, ubiquiti, raid, and countless others)

2 months ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 2

This reaction brought to you by NordVPN.

2 months ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

And RAID: SHADOW LEGENDS

2 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Lets be fair, taking a Raid: Shadow Legends sponsorship ONCE is a right of passage. Now, ever doing it again...

2 months ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Ubiquiti is considered a scam? They're pretty well-regarded in the networking community to my knowledge.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

They’re the latest “Chinese companies are going to steal all your data” conspiracy theory. Last one was TP-Link.

It’s not like there are other options. Everything is made in or owned by China.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

No, there gear just mysteriously ends up on the russian warfront enabling and aiding genocide.
