These are not powered, dog is the only thing making it go. Dog stops, the treadmill stops. Dog does, treadmill goes. Its just a rolling floor. Dog can literally go as fast as they want. which is the entire purpose because many dogs can't run full speed in their home or yard, and humans can't run as fast as dogs, so taking a leashed jog isn't quite the same. Uncorking and going full speed is 100% a happy treat for the dog.
I'm happy to see a little heart monitor. The little guy can't tell you if he is worn out. Be careful. Seen Dogs fall out before they show any signs. Dogs are tough little buggers. I'm not telling you what to do with your little potato; I'm sure he loves the exercise. A trained pup is a happy pup.
Those are self powered. I.E. no motor. It stops when they stop. I love to order one, but they are so expensive. I have to settle for taking the beast on runs the old fashioned way.
