I can confidently say I'd be like that girl, even without the harness... Mostly because I'm too fat to fall though anyhow

8 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 2

Don't be silly! You can always fall off the sides too :)

Hey Steve hooked up to a harness and a safety line...what's the big deal?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

If Mario taught me anything, it’s that in situations like this you just need to hit “b” and run!

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Hold

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I'm getting anxiety just looking at those heights.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I was expecting one to giveaway. So disappointed.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hell yeah to both of them. Look at the second guy go!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How good is that harness? Can you imagine everyone's reactions when halfway across, I just jump off!?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

OK, even 4 ft. off the ground, stepping between one of those rungs would be painful AF

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A stiff wind could have knocked over that tiny guy, so the Smeagol crawl was a good strategy for him.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Same result. I’m probably more like monkey boy than I care to admit.

8 years ago | Likes 409 Dislikes 3

Furious the monkey boy

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'd just wet myself and fall.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It is incredible what one extra point of contact does for your sense of security.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

There is a reason monkeys do it i suppose.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

im the girl, i love high courses like this

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The trick to these sort of things is momentum. Once you start moving, keep moving and only focus on the next board.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

OH THE ADRENALINE!!!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Nope

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Props to him for even doing it. I'd probably be frozen with fear.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 1

I want to see someone sprint across that.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I want to see someone walk on their hands across that

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I want to see someone put handrails across that.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I want to see someone do rails off of that

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Heights don’t really bother me especially with a harness. But I’d do the crab walk too because my balance is awful.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Both badasses. One who is fearless and one who is not letting fear be in control.

8 years ago | Likes 1562 Dislikes 6

Exactly! It didn't look good and he was prolly screaming the whole time, but he cleared it. My respect goes to him.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Agreed, awesome perspective

"Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear, not absence of fear." - Mark Twain

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'd walk round, like the entire fucken mountain

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

H O T T A K E C A N N O N

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Bravery is not the absense of fear nut rather the unwillingness to let it control you

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nice , I was all like lol look at golem

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I like your take

Pretty insightful!

"A man with no fear has no heart. I do have fear, but it does not control me." -Some follower in Skyrim idr

8 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 1

Well that explains my lack of fear. I mean I always knew I didn't have a heart.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'd be like the first girl, but I'd be screaming the whole way along

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And there's me, hoping the bridge and the safety cable fails when I walk across.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 8

are u okay?

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Courage is not the lack of fear. Courage is not letting fear control you.

8 years ago | Likes 112 Dislikes 0

Any sentence like that should end with the word "grasshopper".

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The real Bad ass is the one that's afraid

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The guy is obviously terrified but still makes it over. To me that is more impressive.

8 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

Honestly, you're safe. No need to be careful. I recommend jumping off the side. Show your brain you're safe. Then you can casually stroll.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't even have the stones to probably take that first step, huge fear of heights. I'd pee myself no doubt.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

daredevil vs scared of heights, would totes be the dude.

8 years ago | Likes 125 Dislikes 3

I was the dumbass that would jump off to swing on the rope

"A lot of people are afraid of heights. Not me, I'm afraid of widths." - Steven Wright

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What's strange is, I can deal with heights no problem. Put me in front of a crowd of more than 3 however...

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

That's called performance anxiety lol

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And you instantly gain 20 percent to attack thanks to Cait's max affinity bonus, right?

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Yeah it's cool until you misstep and smack your jaw on the board in front of you

8 years ago | Likes 124 Dislikes 6

I was thinking the same thing. @supermool OK, let's say you have your hands out in front... then you smack the back of your head.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Head shoulders knees and shins!! (All the parts you would smash on the boards if you fell).

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

*shins

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why would you walk with your hands tied behind your back?

8 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 1

I think the point is the gaps are so wide that even if your arms reflexively reached out, they could miss the board while your face wouldn't

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

You must have slow arms

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

Well but that can happen on the ground too

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Although that's still pretty fucking badass

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Agreed. There are way less-cool jaw injuries than that.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Take away that safety harness and let’s see how savage she really is

8 years ago | Likes 339 Dislikes 28

I mean, if you grow up around cattle grids or old railway bridges a set of even planks like that is no big.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

With harness i would be as confident as she is. Without, like hile

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Give them parachutes!

8 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

she might be one of those russian climbers?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

When she was walking I was thinking 'If you have a harness why not enjoy the view', then I thought about no harness and wanted to vomit

8 years ago | Likes 93 Dislikes 2

Also depends on how much you trust that harness.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The thing is, the harness saves your life - but if you fall, you STILL have to climb back up under your own power.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, but it’s a ‘safety’ harness in what looks like China. Probably made with brittle lead fibers...

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 5

Just put "DO NOT INGEST HARNESS" and you're legally safe!

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Good one, until you realize that 90% of the products on the market were made in china.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

I would like to see this 'brittle' lead, of which you speak.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Take away that safety harness and see how stupid she really is

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 17

Haha good one

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Stupid? Come on people. Some don't fear heights. Ever try rock climbing? Good way to get over it.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Tried it, as well as piloting planes... fear of heights is still there.
