Nakitomi Tower, a.k.a Fox Plaza, 2121 Avenue of the Stars, Los Angeles CA 90067. Was in and out of that building every day for 7 years.

The basement level cafeteria had "Die Hard" themed photos on the walls.

I HATED Bruce Willis in Moonlighting. But I loved the concept of the film and was pleasantly surprised at his performance.

#13 It's not that complicated, just a severed horse head in your bed.

I heard Alan Rickman improvised the scene where he shot Hart Boechner by substituting a real bullet. Hart had no idea he was about to die!

Just watched this 2 days ago. Love this movie.

Another fun Die Hard fact: Bruce Willis permanently damaged the hearing in his left ear during the table scene as he didn't have ear plugs.

#3 If Hollywood has taught me anything, it's this: If you want to portrait German baddies, hire German actors!
iwishidpickedabetterusername
There's a much bigger difference between the film and the book concerning the wife/daughter. I'll be nice and not spoil, go read the book!

#6 Film studios "charge themselves" for using their own sets/locations/agencies etc to reduce profits on paper and thus pay less taxes.

My favorite trivia is that one of the Germans is the model for Vigo in Ghostbusters II.

Very common practice. Never realised how common until I started collecting a bonus on 'profit' from a game's sales.

Surprised you didn't post that stupid tweet where the 2quirky4me girl has a fictional conversation with a lowly pleb who likes a thing.
IMadeThisOnlyForDestinyCodeBegging
The problem isn't that people like the movie. I like the movie! It's a fantastic and humorous. The point is that it's not a Christmas movie.
Goatsemen
This one, that just drips smug.

And the reason they had to offer the role to Sinatra is that he played the McClane character (Joe Leland) in an adaptation of The Detective.

And if you ask me, not that good. I still don't understand how they picked it to make the movie
Pengarr
I think in some ways pulpy books make better movies because the director/writer have more room to infuse personality/depth 1/2
Pengarr
As opposed to trying to cram all of a dense, popular novel into one film and not doing justice to it.
