These cars were primarily 1968 and 1969 models, serving as the iconic General Lee. The show's frequent use of car jumps resulted in a high number of Chargers being destroyed or damaged, with an estimated average of two Chargers per episode

The episode with the teleporting space alien was a bit unrealistic.

You would think there would be an actual number written down somewhere.

problem is they (per other websites), is they originally bought the original car and so many others from local dealers, and pretty much consumed every 69 in the region. They then took to 'producing' them in their own 'factory' which took similar models (b bodies) and dressed them to appear as chargers. So not only did we lose Chargers but also Dodge Coronet, Dodge Super Bee, Plymouth Road Runner, Plymouth Satellite, and Plymouth GTX.

I had a hot wheels general lee back in the day. You could open the hood and doors. Launched that sucker off the stairs and piles of dirt
