The burden of proof is on the people holding the prisoners to show that they are alive, treated humanely and not being harmed or tortured. That’s why civilised countries have a chain of custody for prisoners.
If there’s a prison full of people rounded up for their race, disappeared without access to courts or lawyers, with no communication or visitation then that’s a concentration camp.
Even more egregious is that immigration is a civil matter and none of them should be detained at all for any reason. The entire way ICE operates is currently a blatant violation of human rights and the constitution.
