Nope. The same button that released the cupholder will reverse the unfolding motion and retract itself back into the dash when depressed.

IME minivans are generally equivalent or superior to "sport" "utility" vehicles in every respect except maximum towing capacity.

Well, yeah, modified. SUVs can also take power mods and lowering kits, and then you're back where you started.

To be fair, nor do minivans. Like utes (pickups), they're front heavy so that they're evenly loaded when full. Lots of understeer happens.

For handling? Most of them compensate with big-ass stabilizer bars. They'll max out and roll, but they handle well until that point.
