OASIS and ready player one... Here I come..

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Does no one remember when this shit was at arcades in the 90's?! Same shit. 3d movies were around in the 70's. Pep-ridge farms remembers

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The tether is new I guess

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Great. Now I have to be in shape to play video games...

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

So how does jumping forward work? You would need forward momentum IRL and in-game. You'd end up jumping off of it.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The bowl should give you to little friction to get forward momentum. Like skating without to knowing how. I'll wait till Ghost in the shell.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This would make a great Animus.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Make note of how long your walking stride is. Also, you can make one fairly inexpensively, but you shuffle your feet instead of walking.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

This just screams "intermediate technology" ala the power glove.

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

I dont understand the hype. Not a threadmill, its a metal bowl and adult Heelys shoes with 2 wheels...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Look at Virtuix - they make the Omni, but unlike this, you can afford it. Same concept, but for the masses.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Ready player one

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nawnawnawnaw virtuix omni did this shit first, don't steal their thunder.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ready Player One

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Ready Player One anyone?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm sure my wife would be hapy if I bought that and bring it home...

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Exactly what I was thinking.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I thought something like this called the 'Omni treadmill' was created a little bit after Oculus Rift came out.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah thats what i was thinking when i saw this

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Omni has just shipped it's first container full of units to the states last month, 2+ years behind schedule, also no crouch or jump atm

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

...what about the Omni

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Last I heard Omni only does moving, not crouching, sitting and so on. No idea what happened to it.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They're slowly releasing them out, paid for one and I was getting semi frequent emails detailing how production was shaping out.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Omni has just shipped it's first container full of units to the states last month, 2+ years behind schedule, also no crouch or jump atm

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nice. I'll have to call up my bank to arrange a line of credit though.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This is exactly what I imagined as a kid. Crazy to see it come to be so many years later

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Does it come with head phone jack?

9 years ago | Likes 1880 Dislikes 15

Asking the real questions.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Lol too soon mate.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

You sir or madam may have just made my night with this comment.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

No, Rose

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

This comment is heavily underrated

9 years ago | Likes 53 Dislikes 2

Your username is underrated

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Not courageous enough

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Yes but it explodes

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 3

It comes with headphone rose or rose gold

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Took me a while to remember why this comment is funny. Then I remembered. Apple is stupid.

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No but you can buy an adapter. It's no big deal.

9 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 2

Except the adapter is proprietary and costs $79.95

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

Just make your own. v

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

You have to microwave it for a few seconds

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The new VRi-phone does not support headphone jack.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes. Save the courage for Link.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Good.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The rift has integrated audio (quite good too) and the vive has a jack yes

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

It's a kickstarter project. I won't ever come.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's there but you need to drill a small hole.

9 years ago | Likes 465 Dislikes 0

MRW I go looking for this reply:

9 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 3

My question is what happens if you run into a wall in a game and keep walking on the treadmill?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The machine has hydraulic George Costanzas With Bats that it can deploy.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I need one with a responsive suit, so I can feel it when somebody shoots me.

9 years ago | Likes 477 Dislikes 2

You would be dead if you were playing Warframe.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

they have a smart vest or somthing like that cant remember what its called.

9 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

Yes... when they... shoot me.

9 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Haptic suit

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You mean a Gundam?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This.. This little comment right here deserves just a little more attention. Keep being awesome pookie... And EAT.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I remember a jacket from many years back that could do that. Oddly it was compatible with WoW which sounded both redundant and painful

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I own one of those vests. Sadly it's lacking in game support and it's kinda noisey. http://tngames.com/ take a look but I regret my purchase

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's already out there :)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Maybe lots of little plates over a fabric vest, that constrict the vest apply tension to a small area.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It also needs to be wipe-clean in case you shit yourself when a zombie jumps out at you.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Having been shot before, you don't wanna feel it. Trust me.

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

I feel a story comin on

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

He delivered

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Not saying I want to get shot for real. I want it to vibrate or something. So I know where the shot came from. Also realism.

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

For realism just have a buddy shoot you irl everytime you get shot

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Just have an actual gunfight

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Estimated delivery date April 2016. No news since May and that was locked to backers only. Last comment was asking for an update. Promising

9 years ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 0

On their own FB page they say kickstarter deliveries will start end of this year beginning 2017 https://m.facebook.com/katvr.katwalk?fref=nf

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Upvoting for broken promises and crushed dreams, aka another typical Kickstarter. :V

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

They failed to deliver and some people have gotten a refund. Backers seem kinda pissed https://www.facebook.com/groups/121090588240286/

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Yeah the Virtuix Omni promised delivery in May 2014 for my order, they are just now getting the mass prod. units shipped. Give them time

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They are not the only company doing this though.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Doesn't really change anything. The omni limits your movement a ton and the cyberinth visualizer was a scam and never delivered or refunded.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I fail to see how that changes anything.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'd never stop playing Mass Effect or Dragon age if I had this.

9 years ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 5

I know honey, I know <3

9 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 3

I didn't realize you were the one who made the post. Hi babe!

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

*smooch*

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 3

We're going to gross out everyone who follows this comment thread, aren't we? >:D

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

I'm just wondering WTH is going on.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No. Don't stop, please continue

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

No babe, you're alright

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Yea you would because your legs would FUCKING EXPLODE

9 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 1

And then re-form into the best legs ever!

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Just merge with reaper tech and you will be fine. Totally worked out for Grayson in the books. Yeah.. thats right.. he was fine..

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

No thanks. That's exactly what someone infected by a Reaper would say. -.O

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No no. Its fiiiiiine. We love this. We like the cold dark empty feeling that this brings.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

At that point you would have mind-to-tech link and it would be more the matrix with laying around.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nah, it was more trapped inside your own mind and body with no control, and watching yourself commit acts against your own will.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Who's going to design and start The Oasis?

9 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 0

My thought exactly.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was looking for the Ready Player One reference. Found it.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Working on it, bro.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

can we do it without the global energy crisis and evil cooperation though?

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Realistically? Probably not.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

... HOw much is this thing gonna cost. Shit's gonna be like... $10k minimum.

9 years ago | Likes 283 Dislikes 6

How good are your kidneys?

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I ordered the Virtuix Omni. was about $700 in american monies... so about $1600 after shipping and taxes

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

probably won't be that expensive. It's essentially just a giant upside down joystick with a harness and big metal plate.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I see a resurgence in brick-and-mortar arcades coming! This is the best news!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

At least when you buy it you can play one of three prebaked rooms with nothing in them

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Actually that's the security deposit

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Look up Virtuix Omni. Same thing, 10% of the price.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Shocking how as soon as they released prototypes to game developers all these bigger brands are releasing similar things first at double $$$

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Did they drop their pricing? Last I looked it was about the same

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

http://www.virtuix.com/product/omni-package/ $999 without the oculus rift.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This looks like the 2nd gen - kinda sad they raised the price :/

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I mean you'll pay a good few hundred just for a semi decent regular treadmill tbh... personally i'm gonna wait a while though, for this.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

According to the site, $999 but you need a computer that can run it ($1300ish).

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Uhh, gamers in general have computers? Unless you need a standalone unit, any modern rig with VR-read GPU should be enough?

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Alright so around $2299 got it

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Don't forget the vr headset for 799

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

*Gets all of this, plays Minecraft*

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That would actually be pretty cool to go for a literal walk in a minecraft world.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Thought the other day that this kind of thing might bring back the arcades since it may be too expensive at home, then thought, eye herpes..

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Herpes might not, but acne might actually kill a few arcades.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

What if you just brought your own headset? Or a disposable protective piece? Or something like goggles in labs with sterilization cabinets

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

actually, if you pledge $599, you get one.

9 years ago | Likes 323 Dislikes 4

can you recommend a controller?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It wasn't 599,- for anyone. They failed to deliver the product to kickstarter pledgers :[

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

@OP, wanted to point out that kickstarter is long over. Ship date was April of this year. The actual company website is (1/?)

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

http://www.katvr.com/ (Chinese) and unless their price is off, which is possible, the product comes to around $5k USD. (2/2)

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Oh, didn't see the date. You are quite right.

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

The product itself is still amazing, and I thank you for posting. ^-^ Congrats on FP and Renowned.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Yes but is it going to go the way a few things like that do where they end up not producing and not returning the money?

9 years ago | Likes 146 Dislikes 1

That was exactly what happened. Some seem to have gotten the refund tho. https://www.facebook.com/groups/121090588240286/ (Old kickstarter)

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Every investors risk. True there. But I guess I'll wait, until they are mass-produced.

9 years ago | Likes 113 Dislikes 4

Where is it being done on? Kickstarter? Indigogo?

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Kickstarter, link in description.

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 3

if they deliver, it's kickstarter. It's not a sure thing. 2 out of 6 of mine have failed to deliver.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It's been three years since I pledged money for fucking dice. Still no dice. I'm done with Kickstarter.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This kickstarter was 2015. And you guessed it - they didn't deliver.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

They had an old one and they refunded the backers. This is a new one apparently

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nope, that's the same. This kickstarter isn't active anymore as you can see.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You have to watch out for deals that are too good to be true on there. People short the cost of working with manufacturers, all the code 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

2/2 and hardware needed, packaging, and all the other stuff that makes a camera with $60 in parts cost $300 retail.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This was brought to The Shark Tank. Nobody invested because "nobody who plays videogames would like to stand up from their chair and move"

9 years ago | Likes 449 Dislikes 8

Wait for the novelty to wear off. Itll go the way of old VR during the 90s

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Dumbasses

9 years ago | Likes 349 Dislikes 6

Right? I bet after they saw the success of Pokemon Go they were kicking themselves.

9 years ago | Likes 86 Dislikes 2

For not having released Pokemon Go themselves.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Please... all my gym money would just go to this instead.

9 years ago | Likes 57 Dislikes 0

Pokemon GO proved them wrong.

9 years ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 0

Pokemon Go was free. This won't be.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 4

I was thinking this is the only way future americans will exercise. Now we're doomed to be like Wall-E humans...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They grossly underestimate my desire to look silly in front of people.

9 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

It could be used for law enforcement and military training purposes as well, it's applications aren't just recreational.

9 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 1

Some places they arleady use videogames to help train soldiers

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Arma!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

i would get this in a heart beat but I'm poor.....

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'd slap mark Cuban in his god damn mouth for not investing in this

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'd invest.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I think they're correct. I had friends sitting down on the Wii on the very first day. Once the novelty wears off it's a treadmill coathanger

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

It could be argued that the right games/interface could make all the difference though. Wii was pretty cheesy.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

As a 10 year DDR veteran, I seriously beg to differ.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Literally just got finished with 11 straight hours of Just Dance 2017 and I find this comment. The irony lol. Anyway, bad logic, investors :s

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

they never heard of wii?

9 years ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 3

And we all know how WILDLY popular and long-lived that system was. Wait...

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 8

Wii was sold out for a long time,it was popular. Wiiu however...

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

One of the reasons it sold out is Nintendo heavily watched how many were being sold at any point in time. They purposely sold less 1/

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

quantity than they could, to make the hype last longer. I worked in retail then, and we would be required to take Wiis off the shelf 2/

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Of the last gen consoles it sold the most.... at just over 100 million. PS2 is still number 1 over all though.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

It *was* wildly popular. The Wii u was a flop

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

It was wildly popular...?

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

It is one of the most popular systems ever

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

That was quite a bit cheaper as a novelty exercise item.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Too bad. Videogamers aren't the only people who would enjoy this.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's because the people on that show are old farts that know nothing.

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

Seems smart to me. Look at how many people own VR. Only a small portion of gamers own VR.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Yeah but the uses aren't just recreational. That dude in the SWAT gear made me think that it could be used for VR training

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's because good VR is prohibitively expensive and it's potential has yet to be reached in terms of gaming options. Give it a decade.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

an even smaller portion would want to spend thousands on this. They are trying to make money, not be inventive.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Oh, they underestimate their audiences. Especially those that would see this as a perfect opportunity for exercise.

9 years ago | Likes 237 Dislikes 1

Or military training... Imagine using these to train for entering buildings in a hostile environment. Would be a LOT cheaper.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They would STILL require facades and mock ups. To give a greater sense of realism. BUT, it would be a fantastic supplement for more training

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

How much would you be willing to pay for something like this and does your answer represent a mass audience?

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

So much & I'm willing to bet yes.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

5k is a bit much, but for 2-3 thousand, this would sell pretty close to hotcakes.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Arcades.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

What happened to pokemon go?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

i would play it more if it did not completly lock down my phone.... also winter,

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Pokemon Go happened to Pokemon Go. It's repetitive and glitchy. Users got frustrated.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Developers looked at a great idea and said "What if we made it worse?"

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Obesity problem solved

9 years ago | Likes 48 Dislikes 0

I heard Pokémon Go fixed that already.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That was the last sensational innovation to change the world for a week.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I mean, some probably would be turned off by movement, but the allure of VR is... strong. The better it is, the more we're sucked in.

9 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

It looks amazing, but I'm cautious of getting sucked into a VR world. So much in this world to escape from if you know what I mean

9 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

I hear you.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I have watched one of these where the guy was just taking a stroll through skyrim. Can definitely see getting sucked in with that.

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

What about the Omni by Virtuix? it's pretty much the same thing and was pretty successful, surprised they didn't head the signs.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Successful? It was a complete and total flop.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Whatever happened to that?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Took a long time to devolop but they are sending out them to the poeple that preordered since last month.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The best sign of a recent product being pretty successful is asking that question.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It has had some release to early orderers. My brother-in-law built one with the DIY kit they sold for a while (had to get his own lumber)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Overall it is pretty alright. He had an Oculus DK2 and Hillcrest tracker as well because he was working in engine dev for Bethesda.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sure, it works if you take baby steps. But what if you walk like a grown ass person?

9 years ago | Likes 50 Dislikes 1

its for japs

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 9

you get a super realistic falling sensation

9 years ago | Likes 59 Dislikes 0

**fucking trips and falls over with the machine still attached**

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Seriously, for 5k, you should at least get a base that you can properly walk- let alone run- on.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

5k? It's $600 bucks

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Oh? OP said 5k in the description. I just took it as truth since I have no plans to get it myself.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I cant seem to find the price. Where did you get that $600 from?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

their kickstarter. pledge $599 for complete set, early bird for $649 has 20 spaces left and gets you a $150 chair.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That kickstarter had an estimated date of April 2016 and has gone almost entirely stagnate-- most likely a scam.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The "EDIT EDIT" is where OP gives a link to the website to properly purchase it, and claims its 5k on there, though to be fair I couldnt

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fucking A! That is so badass! I can't wait till I'm 75 and can afford one of these!

9 years ago | Likes 4107 Dislikes 1

I'm just going to stick with the controller and watch everyone get slower and slower as the game progresses

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Assuming you aren't already old, by then we'll probably have some shit like SAO style full dive tech

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Once I was 7 years old...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Cant*

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You'll get one, grandpa. 2 more years.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just wait 10 years til the 7th gen comes out, then you wont even take the 1st gen for free becausr it seems too obselete

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And play MOBILITY SCOOTER SIMULATOR 2053.

9 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

I'll buy you one. Pm me

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is that when your student loans will be paid off?

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I feel like arcades might make a comeback

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

At 75 I'd put it on credit... and then never pay. Mwahahahahaa

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

ANNNND until ENOUGH people can afford it that games are designed for it & all use it so it isn't a disadvantage to those that use it.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You'll be just in time for heart attack city. Imagine horror game this thing? So many dead people. IRL

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Cody

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I tell my daughter that she can put me in a home when I get super old, but they have to let me do pot and play future video games

9 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

I'll be that old man floating in his bio tank, hooked to steam from the spinal chord, powning 15 year old shits.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

+1 for "do pot"

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

I remember a few years ago at PAX prime they had a booth upper floor they were playing L4D2 looked neat

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Virtuix omni did this first, Google them, I think they're more affordable.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The American Dream

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Imagine having them at a local arcade. Probably the only way the mass public will get to use it.

9 years ago | Likes 77 Dislikes 0

Ah yeah, good ol' eyebrow lice.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have been saying this for a while now. VR playgrounds, man!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I glanced at this and didn't think much but holy shit the possibilities are insane. You can have MP maps and do all sorts of exercise.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah! And the nearest local arcade is only located 20 years away from where I live!

9 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 0

Me and some friends are super psyched and even have talked about investing to maybe open one up...

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Sadly in Acadiana area Louisiana there aren't enough gamers to pract9cally do this

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Isn't it like $600 for a backer right now? You can't put together $600 until you're 75? How old are you? 74?

9 years ago | Likes 1139 Dislikes 27

I haven't seen $600 for almost 2 years now, and unless I start selling moonshine again, I probably won't any time soon.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It'll probably at max be 10 years until this is something everybody owns. I hope. I'm making up my data.

9 years ago | Likes 74 Dislikes 1

It's a bit different backing something than buying it outright though. No guarantee you'll get it.

Where do you live, Uganda? I barely make enough for rent with 2 jobs working <50hrs a week

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I laughed way more than I expected myself to. +1

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wow, that actually seems really reasonable

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You do realize the Kickstarter ended two years ago, right?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Wait what, it's affordable!?

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

It's a kickstarter and they might have overpromised saying they can deliver this for $600 a pop, 150k backing total, so maybe not

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I have about $4 disposable income every month after just the bare minimum bills. I'm even illegally driving, can't afford car insurance.

9 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 1

Well shit

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ive been there, but I implore you to find a way to earn the extra cash for car insurance. Lack of can really ruin your life or others.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

What do you do for a living? Can I ask how your life is? Sorry if I'm asking something I shouldn't

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

$4 a month to reach $600 will take about 12½ years. What are you 62 years old?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I hope things get better for you. Any way you can go to college? (Or maybe you're already in college.)

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Depending on where you live i can you better work.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think you a word

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

You can do this. Your time will come. Check out plasma donations, usually $200-$300 a month on a visa cash card.

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

We are getting a plasma center sometime in the next year. It'll be the first paying one in my city. They don't allow more than $100 a month.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

As someone who is a plasma, and have been donating blood for 4 years - you can get paid for it? Not that I'm going to stop even if others do

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Depends on country. In Belgium it's illegal to pay in money for blood/plasma. You can get some gifts like cinema tickets but not money

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You are a plasma?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Not that I'm going to stop donating just because others get paid for it while I don't* saw that my comment was confusing

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

you shut your smart young mouth, gotta link?

9 years ago | Likes 589 Dislikes 1
