Is it magnets? It's probably magnets.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I'm guessing magnets, but I can't think of a reason why.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Static field, maybe? Does kinda look like magnetic behavior but yeah...

The conveyer belts speed is just at the tipping point for the pipe. And the bump at the end sends it dancing in the tipping direction.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Could be a magnetic field from the electric engine combined with the shape.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

Nope, the engine is so far off.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah and they are typically shielded too. Was just a stretch of a guess.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

All things aside, that's some amazing engineering.

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 2

No that's terrible engineering. That conveyor is not conveying anything

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Nonsense, it accurately conveys the futility of existence... dammit.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm thinking this could be used to let one through at a time. The next one in line pushes this one off and then gets stuck.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A belt conveyor can do that without having to rely on your parts hitting each other every cycle

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Might have worded that weirdly. I was thinking it would be neat if it was supposed to work like that. In reality I few servos and a

Sensor could accomplish the same exact thing without the chance of damaging the product.
