Here in argentina the simpsons are primordial culture knowledge. We speak to each other with simpsons references, we compare
national news with scenes of the episodes (normally phtoshoping politicians faces over the characters heads) and it is frowned upon
for people to not know or watch The Simpsons. And we have channels airing the Simpsons sometimes for 3 or four hours (8 on the weekends)
And we tend to distrust people for not liking the show. I know it sounds crazy, but its damn true.
