As a reminder you need to explicitly say you invoke your right to remain silent for it to count. Just shutting up is not enough.
This is from off of Berghuis v. Thompkins. If you fail to remain completely silent, even after hours, it doesn't count.

Similarly: don't consent to anything. Don't let them search anything. Don't let them inside. Be clear, firm, and polite in that order.
Don't focus on the fact you're getting arrested, look at the big picture -&help your lawyer help you by giving them lots to challenge.
