My roommate and I were talking about how 5th addition kind of made spell casters boring, as 5th is more focused on story. thoughts?
I haven't played a lot of 5th, but the spell list does seem a bit stripped back. That's fine I guess. Rules supplements usually fix that
Sort of problem but I don't think 5th has any decent splat books (granted they're still publishing it). However the "rules-lite" trend
Is kind of necessary, as TTRPGs are a very niche market. There will always be a place for devoted players and their rules heavy SR/WoD/WH
But what companies want to do is *grow* the market, which means printing rules-lite versions like Shadowrun Anarchy and D&D 5th so they can
