Oooh she’s gonna be mad you ate that without her! I know because I’m mad. I’m mad you’re eating it without me. Where’s my plate

Can I come over while your wife’s gone? Im a girl but I only want to eat steak and drink beer and nothing else.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

How often is she out of town...? That meal is something I would do.Well done, kindred spirit!

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Meat and potatoes!! Perfectly fine. Yeah some time a veg might be nice but sometimes it’s not. Fuck off. This looks grand.

Good Job great done

+1 for cooking and not going for fast food

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

I just made some filet mignon for the first time. Recipes made me add a cast iron skillet to my shopping list.

Anybody putting butter on their steak ain't steaming broccoli or asparagus.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yooo Wisconsin!

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I feel like you and I would be great meal buddies

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

@OP I have to say, I love the blue plateware your delicious looking meal is set upon. Really lovely!

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Thanks! Credit goes to the wife on that. I think it's by Fitz and Floyd

NEW GLARUS I MISS YOU SO

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I'm happy to see it was something besides Spotted Cow. I love New Glarus Brewery, but SC sucks.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

USA. Knew it when I saw "New Glarus". The real Glarus is 40km South of here

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I would hate that plate. I always scrape my plates/bowls clean, getting every bit of food. That plate would be a nightmare to work with.

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That's what you have a tongue for.

Spotted Cow. My brother brought a keg to my sister’s birthday party and I didn’t get a drink of it.

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I crave flesh.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Dude i want your plates lol

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

You are a man after my own taste! Enjoy, my friend.

7 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 1

Prost!

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Temp in the sear?

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

On*

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Idk. Burner on high, put a couple teaspoons of oil in, wait till it starts to smoke. Then throw the steak on and reduce temp slightly

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

this is literally what I was thinking of having dinner.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I loved “mershed perdurders” and then I saw New Glarus. Sconnie beer at its finest.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Too sweet for me, I prefer their Belgian Red. I need to get my hands on a 4 pack of their new Flanders Sour to try.

7 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 4

Nobody asked what you like

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

I just finished Flanders Sour... it was a bit much for me. I miss the apple ale! (Past employee of NG Brewery)

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I def wouldn't want to drink a sixer of them, but it makes a fine finisher. I'll never turn down a Spotted Cow either.

7 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

Strawberry Rhubarb is amazing. Raspberry Tart was pretty impressive too. When do they usually release SR?

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Honestly not a huge fan of their spotted cow, but let me get some moon man and I’ll be good!

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

More of a striped turtle man myself.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Is that... a slab of butter?

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Good quality butter is delectable addition to a steak, I almost always

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's unnecessary though, you're just adding undue oil, just cook it in butter if you like the taste it adds...

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Butter bubbles and cooks off at the higher temperatures. This is tried and true. Just ask Ruth's Chris, they're doing pretty good.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It also saps the flavour of the meat making the steak less tasty, cooking with it helps brown the meat, adds a unique flavour, slab does not

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Same thought here. Who.. who puts a slab of butter on their steak...?

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Just me and my pal Gordon Ramsey

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

+1 to a fellow Wisconsinite!

7 years ago | Likes 126 Dislikes 2

Being from England, Wisconsinite sounds too definitive, you should defo consider being Wisconsinish. Can you imagine if we were Englandites?

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

As a Cornishish, this makes sense.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Being from America we do whatever we goddamn please.

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

"Wisconinish" sounds like we are only sort of from Wisconsin.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Englandish

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Yeah, I don't think we will go for that.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Wisconsinites... ASSEEEEEMBLLLLE

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Da na na, da na na nuh.... GO PACK GO!

You can probably manage to steam some asparagus or broccoli or something to go along with it. You don't have to, but you could.

7 years ago | Likes 501 Dislikes 13

That and use the meat fat after to cook an egg

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Some people just like meat and potatoes. Why do you have to piss in his Cheerios. I’m sure he knows how to cook veggies.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Ya I was just thinking he could use the fiber lol

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Steamed with a lil cheese sauce

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Exactly what I was thinking. Keep you purturders.

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Nah those are good too.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

This is a nice departure from the formerly classic “what is that green shit touching your steak” Imgur reaction to vegetables.

7 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

You daft motherfucker

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Nah, just toss them in olive oil and add the same seasonings you put on the steak. put them in while the ovens preheats. (1/2)

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

By the time your steak is done (15min preheat, 4 minutes stovetop, 4 min oven, 5min rest) then asparagus/broccoli should be done)

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Asparagus with steak is best prepared in butter, olive oil, salt, and minced garlic.

7 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

A little bit busy, but sure if you like.

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

You're missing the part where his wife is out of town.

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

this ^^

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I used to steam broccoli. Now I broil it with just enough oil to make it glisten, and a touch of salt.

7 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 1

I make almost all my veggies like this!

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

This is the gif that it deserves. But I would still encourage you to try it.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I like it steamed. I also like it deep fried, baked, a few other options.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

High heat pan roasted w some olive oil and salt

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

About 10 minutes, until the edges go brown and the rest of bright green.

7 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Do you want to fucking medal?

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes. It should be just heavy enough that it's annoying to wear, but shiny enough that I want to. Choice of metal is up to you.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I like you.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Add some almonds to that shit, broc, butter, almonds and a bit of salt. Fucking sweet.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Yep.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've done that before for garnish but, why ruin a good meal with vegetables?

7 years ago | Likes 351 Dislikes 46

Because you don't want a premature death before you can enjoy your retirement. Or I dunno, maybe you do.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Needs bacon

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

I hope all the ripe twats that are downvoting this choke on their broccoli.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

I did bacon-candied brussel sprouts with the delmonicos i made for my wife and I last time. Superb.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

Because vegetables are an excellent butter delivery platform to accompany your starchy butter and protein butter.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Dude. Broccolini, duck fat, lemon, anchovies and salt. Hot pan.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

is duck fat something you can buy? any of the ducks I shoot have almost no fat on them

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Isn't potato a vegetable?

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

What about corn on the cobb?

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Mount the veggies w/butter & parmesan. Problem solved

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

For pooping. You like pooping right?

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

We're friends now, get used to it

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

I used to dislike broccoli too until I started working at a place that used high quality lemon oil and sea salt

7 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

So you don't get haemorrhoids. Take it from a guy who never used to eat vegetables and ate red meat all the time , toilet bowl goes red

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Learn how to spell hemorrhoids first.

Carrots ?

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Also a starch. You want something with fiber for the poopin and vitamins out the wazoo.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Have green bits.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Vegetables are tasty, too.

7 years ago | Likes 84 Dislikes 14

Roots and tubers; potatos, carrots, onions and gaaahhhlik. Leafy green shit hell nah.

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Honestly mate, cut some Brussel sprouts in half and pan fry them in a shit ton of butter and garlic. Goes good with the meat.

7 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

Brussel sprouts are the most misunderstood vegetable. I hated them all my life until I realized I never even tried them. Now I love em
