I got to meet Walter Staib!!!!

TLDR - graduation lunch was at a great restaurant and I got to meet the famous chef Walter Staib!!!

If you don't watch www.twitch.tv/food you should. They have great cooking shows, and one of the best ones is Walter Staib's taste of history. Its speghtakalar. In the chatroom someone mentioned he had a restaurant (City Tavern) in philly! I recently graduated and asked to go there for lunch. I asked the waiter if he was there and he was! He stopped by our table and talked to us for a good 15 minutes. He talked about the history of the dishes and how he prepares them. Apparently, he imports some of his ingredients from Germany. He hates American cabbage and imports his own. It was awesome meeting him, and eating some great food (I had his roast duck). His pepper pot soup and cream chicken soup are incredible.

I picked up all three of his cookbooks and got them signed. Anyways, just super excited I got to meet him!
