Sterling engines are apparently significantly more efficient than current ICEs... at least under ideal conditions

Theyre more efficient but i think they generally have lower torque. Fewer moving parts and self contained seem ideal for a generator

By heating up the air, it expands, which pushes the piston onthe other side, then they all cycle by way of the flywheel.
