If anyone knows wtf this is, I'd appreciate it. They can hover like hummingbirds. I thought they were sweat bees, but I searched and couldn't verify it.

Sweat bee. Annoying as fuck. Sting isnt as bad as a bees or a hornets. Still just as annoying.

We always called 'em sweat flies. Reread that and feel like I should say something about "slingblades" mmmhmmm.

Type of fly. They use bee like stripes to ward of predators. Kinda cute the way they float around
