I made a dead space marker lamp for a friend's birthday.

End product. Simple USB led strip

this is what it looks like when its off, you can also see the IR reciever for the LEDs sticking up to far

Metallic washes were done with a basic iwata revolution, vallejo model air paints are my preferred for metallics

Base was an almost black blue automotive paint. Should have used a different paint as this was a pain to sand off.

quite a few have asked if i will sell any, since i didnt make the marker model i would not be comfortable seeing as it was just ripped from the game files and cleaned up by another. but models can be printed fairly easily and the process is quite simple. instructions are in the thingiverse link.
