The elder democrats are suppressing the passion and direction of its younger, more progressive base. Both the right and the left have division within their own parties. Hopefully we get a true progressive party that can organize during the Trump power-grab and leave the stagnant democratic party. I fear for democracy so this is just wishful thinking.
