#3 Me, my first time skiing ever at age 23. It was at Sugar Mountain, my ex was a pro and after I made it down the bunny hill 3 times without falling he decided I was ready for the top run. I was not. Hit the first hump full speed, top was iced over, went backwards and banged my head. The rest of the way down I kept losing my skis, and he'd trudge back up the mountain to get them. I did make it down from the top by the end of the day and only fell once, but getting to that point was hell lol.

#3 runaway skis are no joke. I live at ski resort in Colorado. One year a ski got away from an inexperienced skier who had no business being on this side of the mountain. The ski basically projectiled down the run and the point of the ski nailed a lady who was sitting on the side of the run right in her back and she ended up paralyzed.

She took a lift to the bottom of the run and was, as she told me, “stoked and sooo lucky to find her skis sticking end up in the snow!
