HowtoBBQRight on YouTube. Super friendly dude and has taught me how to do almost every smoke I do. Highly recommend if you're into it.
SlimSam
Yeah, I had a cat and I didn't need Steve to tell me how to properly open a cat litter sand bag. How dumb are these people?
ronNhyde
It bothers me I can only get this to work about 1/3 of the time. Which goddam string do I pull again?
TrapsAreIllegal
Rice bags have the same. It has never worked for me. Ever

I really thought this was going to turn out to be a joke and he was gonna rip it open at the end.

Rice bags are NASA level engineering. I've yet to throw 1 out after only using it for rice, they're great for carrying or storing things.

Aren't the bags of dog food the same, can't believe people honestly use scissors and knives to open these lol.
w00tberrypie
I thought it was as well, at least it's how I'd always been opening them. But apparently not as common as we thought.
hackmonkey
If the internet has demonstrated anything conclusively, it is that common knowledge ain't that common.
LittleMathCat
Yeah, our horse feed comes like this and even includes instructions on how you should open the bag. Super simple.
Mayzowl
50 pound bags of flour also come like this, as well as bulk sesame, sunflower, and poppy seeds :D
Ulthirm
This is an example of why getting pissy and angry at someone for not doing something you think is common sense is poor etiquette. Its
really easy for us to confuse local common knowledge as global common knowledge, or even just knowledge among friends, as many folk do tend
to just make friends of a particular type and may trick themselves that way as well. Its not so common, particularly among places where
natural gas is so common it actually can cause issues with buildings incidentally built above a pocket.
And we dont close dog food this way, or really anything else. Its all an aluminum band with a staple at both ends. You pull out the staple
Nerfgunner
RIP the bag open, roll up the remainder bag like a man, store under your car to shield from rain.

I try it everytime but it never seems to cooperate
Litlikejoanofarc
