Also in my experience if you ever have a trailer start swaying bad. Accel fast and it will straighten out. Slowing down makes it worse.

Gotta pay attention to tongue weight too, most hitches have a specific tongue weight limit. This should be proportional to trailer's GVW.

From a technical point of view, tow vehicle has a trailer weight limit and a range of acceptable coupling weights. Respect them.
