#1 I will never understand how people set up this absolute predictable disaster waiting to happen. To place them in a row like dominoes is just…is amazing the right word?
Not particularly different from a warehouse setup & having someone run into the supports with a forklift. They definitely should have isolated the shelving from the work area with some sort of bolted partition though.
There's a reason warehouse shelving should be bolted to the floor, to the next rack over and to the wall. Also there should be a partition between where the work area is and the first shelves. Completely preventable accident.
It looked to me like the old guy started to reach for a gun after the kick. Looks like he stopped himself, but the clip ends before we can be sure. And I may be reading too much into his body language.
I think the miss was intentional. When I was doing martial arts, there was an older guy in the class who got accosted by some teens one night. He just showed them that he could possibly kick them in the head, and they all backed off
It's the worst, most jingoistic, obnoxious, fake-ass, wannabe patriotic, self-aggrandizing, puerile, vomit-inducing, cheesy, shit-tastic gathering of sound that was colon-spewed out of Satan's Marketing Department .... I just hate that song so goddamn MUCH!
You stupid inbred fuck, you paid to watch a caged animal abused for entertainment and are shocked when it escaped its captivity and hit another ticket holder responsible for its abuse? Fuck you
oh my God it is soooooo satisfying. although I always invent a little ending where they break free and find a stud farm down the road and just get buried in cow poon
Do you really think cowboys abuse bulls? Bull riding at the animal abuse equivalent equivalent of "annoying your cat." If you want a high horse someone, go after bullFIGHTERS, bullfighting is actual abuse.
A lot of people probably don't know about the abuse and you can super die from a bull attack, so I'm never excited unless they attack the event organizers, but yeah..... More or less agreed
Look I get that as a sentiment, but the older I get the more I realize.. Some people are absolute fucking morons. How they manage to tie their shoes is a mystery. Never doubt a person's ability to not see the thing directly in front of their face
Did I say it was? I said something along the lines of not wishing death upon them if they don't know about the abuse. I can still wish for them to be non-lethally hit by a car, or for them to fall down a flight of stairs.
Bulls can and have gored people to death. I would save that painful experience for the organizers of the event, and not the stupid people
He definitely carries most of the responsibility. Given he was the driver and probably distracted by the seatbelt. With that being said I am honestly surprised that a rail road crossing on such a complex street would only have a couple of flashing lights.
#8 Wild, whole pile of stuff in that. The driver is gonna be dinged for putting his seatbelt on while rolling, but I think he was done with that a few seconds before he needed to look up and see that the crossing lights were NOT flashing or if they were, so dim they didn't show on video. Then some numbskull put a (temporary?) stop sign too close to the crossing. Also the train seemed to be going double the speed that is usual in built up area without barriers on crossings.
They were flashing. He then looks left, then right, then only left (4 more times) while the train is approaching on his right. He didn't want to stop, so he tried the "ol' well it's not here yet so I can still get through"...except it was on his right...
Got it fullscreened and still cannot see the flash, from way back there's an artifact where the white windows in the building behind pass behind the lights but no flash.
The angle is bad on the exterior camera but in a couple moments looking closely you can tell that the lights were flashing, on the side and overhead. Going through with flashing lights is really the end of the story, but his second level of stupidity was only looking right once, before he could really see very far down the track, and then never looking right again while repeatedly looking left.
Thanks, much better vid, flash obvious, the one posted starts a couple of seconds after the good headon view of lights and is cutoff on the left side too. Even knowing the flash is there I still can't see it on this one, some frames where it looks a little redder but that could just as well be light angle changing on the lens of the light.
Ooh, yeah, he fucked up big. I couldn't tell if the lights were flashing in OP's clip, but that one makes it obvious. Hopefully he loses his CDL for that.
#8 Too much sound isolation in the cab, non functional railway crossing, too busy eating and looking only in the direction he intended to go, bad stop sign placement, bad intersection design overall so close to a railway crossing. too many trees for an unguarded crossing if the lights HAVE been decommissioned, Train not adhering to 'Broken crossing speed restrictions' if the crossing IS broken.
Yeah those Trees really shouldn't be there, and that stop sign AFTER the railway crossing. Yeah he wasn't paying attention and watching the track as a risk but that crossing is crap as well.
Hart to tell but it looks like the red lights on the crossing are flashing. That crossing doesn't appear to have cross bars. Dude really should have buckled his seat belt instead of draping it across his body.
I know you got downvoted but it REALLY depends on if those lights were supposed to be working. There's not enough pixels to tell. The only way the guy isn't at fault is if the crossing wasn't working without being indicated as being non functional.
The ones on the post are flashing too. It took a couple of watches to be sure, but he totally should have seen one or both.
Hopefully the authorities saw this video and stripped him of his CDL. So many stupid things he did in that video. He is clearly a danger to those around him on the road, so he shouldn't be able to drive heavy equipment again.
Brother I grew up so rural we didn't even have lights at some crosses. Do you know who has the right of way? The giant metal choo choo train with the big horn.
rights mean legally protected. SO you're telling me that because the train has more momentum and can't be stopped... IT THERE FORE has the legal ability to crush anything that gets in its way and no one has any power to legally challenge how or why the crushing.... do I read you correct?
Right of way means if two vehicles enter an intersection, the one without the right of way has to yield. In case of a possible collision, you still need to attempt to avoid it, but if you faild to yield, the collision is legally your fault. The reason trains always have the right of way is because they are physically incapable of stopping in time. Trains have their own signals but it's not like driving a car.

Not sure bolting them to the floor would do much at all. Seems to be a bunch of stacked modular baskets given how they break apart.

Yeah, the modular baskets would make lots of parts of the job easier.
