When you charge a VC position and run out of ammo

Anyone have the gif from Police Squad when Frank Drebin and a criminal run out of ammo and throw guns at each other for 3 minutes. No? OK.

Knife noob

Pan fights are gnarly...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Surprisingly accurate.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Sidearms?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'll wear him like underwear, captain

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And there are the odd times when you confront an enemy support and they instinctively throw you ammo...then you shoot them.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

they need a pan

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Csgo: Pistol rounds: Tplayer whiffs 20 bullets, CTplayer whiffs twelve... both pull out knives and duke it out

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why drop the rifle, beat the shit out of him with it.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

he does it to get to his sidearm

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

More like: all that time playing goldeneye had prepared Hans and Joe for this moment

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Turns to a fucking knifing match. In Phantoms Forces, some guy with a katana and a lightsaber instead. Yeah, it’s fucking great.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Phantom Forces?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Search it up. It’s on the ROBLOX game engine because I can’t run any fucking else. It has stick grenades as a melee. Not explosive, sadly

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You mean when life’s FUBAR

This is the one scene that really bugs me from SPR because after the helmet throw, they pull out their sidearms. Why not the pistol first?!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Plastic props, look at them fly.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I like to believe that when you're just that desperate, everything ricochets like the Captain's shield.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

All jokes aside, there is training for this in boot camp. A Kevlar helmet can knock your ass out if aimed correctly.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What movie is this? Lmao! Or is it just a blooper?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Saving Private Ryan: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lIwlc6AfspI

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Aw, it edited out the swearing after he got shot in the leg. "SON OF A BITCH SON OF A BITCH"

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Saving Private Ryan. No bloopers or funny business here. Just death.

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

I fucking loved Sizemore in that movie. Sad he's gone.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Pretty sure it's "Saving Private Ryan" at the climatic battle scene near the end of the movie

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

this happened to me in pubg. i was in a room with a buddy, reving him. a guy ran in and shot someone else outside of the room we were in///

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

i thought it was a buddy, but when i realized it wasn't i turned and tried to shoot him while FREAKING THE FUCK OUT. i end up missing all//

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

my shots and so did he. we then pulled out our handguns and layed into each other. which we both landed some hits, but still survived///

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

at this point we both spin around each other trying to reload our guns. in the end, he got me and we all died. Sad moment in pubg.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Mandatory "If you haven't seen Band of Brothers, I highly recommend it" comment. Although apparently this is from some Matt Damon movie.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's from one of the best WW2 films ever - Saving Private Ryan.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This was the first movie I saw by myself - was at Disney World w/family,w/time to kill - had seen it before - taught me going to the (1/2)

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

movies alone can be fun, and very enjoyable. Was about 16-17 at the time. Please learn to love your own company; it's very important

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

I love going to the movies by myself. Especially the new fancy ones with recliners and booze and mozzarella sticks

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

OMG yes! I'll go to the bar in the mall for a bit, then catch a flick there, then have my g/f drive us hone when she clocks out - so good

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Every time I watch this specific part of the scene, I can’t stop thinking about how much adrenaline must be going through

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Band of Brothers or something else?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Saving Private Ryan

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

And the knife fight scene

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I never tire of this movie. I've seen it well over 100 times, can quote at least 2 hours of it.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What movie?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Saving private Ryan

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's what I thought, but it seemed too silly to be in that movie. I should watch that movie sometime :/

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Well they start shooting each other right after.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In bf3 dude and I ran out of ammo and stood there with knives out about to fight. Teammate ran in and pumped his face full of buckshot.

8 years ago | Likes 70 Dislikes 1

The cowards way. True honor only cometh with your enemies blood on your hands or yours on his.

Missing that series

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I ran at a tank with defibrillators out, they backed up into the canals. Was able to defibrillate them as they climbed up the ladder.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I managed to defib someone in a tank in bf4. No clue how, completely unable to replicate since.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I've found that cast-iron pans can block bullets and two-hit kill people.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

BF1? That is a thing?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

No, it was a PUBG joke. Sorry for the confusion.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ah... wondered what did I miss :P

License to kill, slappers only, no Oddjob.

8 years ago | Likes 431 Dislikes 1

I only have licence to Maim

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

License to kill, throwing knives, aztec, no oddjob.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Rookie mistake not banning the second scientist character.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

What about the civilian characters that you actually got negative points for killing?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Golden gun and proximity mines.. The start of fights

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Add turbo mode (was that the name?), with house rule that you can only stare straight down at the floor. Happy childhood memories.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You just gave me a vietnam-style flashback

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

License to Kill & Proximity Mines. Because you hate your friends.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Oddjob was my first thought after seeing the gif. Lots of laughs were had playing 007 Nightfire. Kills from across the map with that hat.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Next time I'm on my PC I'll link you a free rebuild of that game I found

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Awesome!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Tried playing that recently. Almost threw up

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Me two.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Same. Man that was hard. The way the guns move independent of the direction of travel

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

It's actually sort of more realistic. Head and gun need not point in the same direction. Think of it like driving a tank!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Eh, not really. You aim down the sights to shoot. When you do that, you're oriented the same direction generally. No one fired off axis.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I did say "sort of". Obviously Bond on N64 wasn't exactly X-plane.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Alternately, sometimes we’d switch to 3v1 with the 1 using Oddjob.

8 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 0

Wait I played a shit ton of Goldeneye in the past but dont seem to know, why no Oddjob?

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

All the models had the same height except oddjob. He was below the typical default firing reticle, thus at an advantage.

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Well shit, I could've owned my brother if I'd had this information 13 years ago

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In 007 Nightfire they kept the unbalanced trend as oddjob got to throw his instakill hat as the only character with a integral weapon

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

I loved that thing.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The way I remember that weapon was it tracked you across the map. A deadly weapon for him

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You know who picked Oddjob?

8 years ago | Likes 81 Dislikes 0

Old child-hood friend and I spent ours fighting each other as Oddjob to learn to compensate for his height and hitbox difference.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My friends didn't know about Oddjob, I did. They were not happy. Especially not the one who picked Jaws.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I *always* pick oddjob

Band of Brothers! Exquisite series, wholeheartedly recommend. After which, The Pacific.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Check out Generation Kill

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Are the on Netflix

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

HBO definitely. Amazon maybe. Amazing show though. You should buy it if you like WW2 films.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well thank god I have HBO now as well. Gotta get me my WWII fix

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Pacific was eh...

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

For anyone who reads, first read what @Eogos wrote, good explanation mate. Second there are a couple of books I recommend that go with it:

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

With the Old Breed: At Peleliu and Okinawa, by Eugene Sledge. And Helmet for My Pillow, by Robert Leckie.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Pacific was great, both series showed the conditions of each theatre well. I think the reason people don't like the Pacific as much is 1/?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That while BOB follows one company and their journey through the war, focusing on specific people in it through out the show, 2/?
