Been browsing for a year now, haven't seen this.

12 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 4

Hasn't been here for a year I reckon. It's a few years old so the general knowledge of it has lowered.

12 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Perhaps you sometimes "do things" or "talk to people". I don't have that sort of baggage.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

same, same

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

who uses mouthwash BEFORE they brushh?!

12 years ago | Likes 1976 Dislikes 24

I do.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

People who put milk in the bowl before their cereal.

12 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 3

People who let a cat jump on them after they shower

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you use it after you brush it dries out your mouth making it easier for bacteria to grow, its better to brush last without rinsing after.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

this guy right here

12 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

Savages.

12 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

Dentists say you're not supposed to rinse after brushing or you wash away the fluoride.

12 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

alot of mouth washes are fluoride based, this is only an issue if you have "pre-brush" wash, and used it after.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It helps to whiten your teen

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

who uses electric brush?!

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

Everyone I know. They work a lot better

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

You're supposed to do it before..

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Mouth wash removes the stuff that the toothpaste leaves behind. The stuff protects your teeth, it just has to sit for a while..

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Mouthwash actually is made to loosen crap from your teeth should use it, floss, then brush.

12 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 6

me do

12 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

People who forgot to buy toothpaste U_U

People who are right

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That is without a doubt the strangest part of these pictures.

12 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 4

Blasphemous!

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Do both.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Mouth wash dries your mouth out and promotes bad breath. It's better to brush after.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just use one that isn't alcohol-based

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

WHO DRINKS MOUTHWASH FROM THE BOTTLE?!

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

it is possible that the gifs are just out of order?

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Everyone who reads the directions, I guess?

12 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

I assumed everyone did, since that's how you're supposed to do it.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

me

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I do. It's for killing bacteria, right? And I don't want the aftertaste, so i do it pre-brushing so my brushing rinse removes it.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

mouthwash washes away the stuff left by the toothpaste that protects your teeth throughout the day. Flouride I think.

12 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

TIL: very few people read the directions on their mouthwash or have any idea why they're using it, or what it does.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Barbarians

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

well the images could be just in wrong order

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Who puts gifs of someone using mouthwash BEFORE gifs of them brushing??

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There is a lot of weirdos out there

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

people who know how to use mouthwash?

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

First brush THEN listerine!

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Didn't we go through this last time this was posted?

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

First toothpicks, then floss, then brush, then mouthwash. 15 minutes later I have terrible breath again.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Why would you use it after? You just cleaned your mouth..?

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

PRE-RINSE MOTHERFUCKER!

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

When you use toothpaste that requires you to not rinse. I have to floss prior to brushing, as well.

12 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

It's probably mouth rinse, which you use pre brushing. I thought my mom was crazy the first time I saw her use it.

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

just everyone!

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

THERE'S A CAT ON HER HEAD!

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Aren't you suppost to? I started years ago because the bottle said to...

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Maybe it's absinthe!

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My SO has a mouthwash that says to do that before brushing your teeth.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A lot of people are using mouthwash as tooth paste these days. I don't know. They think it's a good idea for some reason. Idk why

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I put mouthwash on my toothbrush along with toothpaste. I dont use water when I brush, just mouthwash.

Now to find out which of the two she is.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well I am not a cat lady, so.....

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I like to put mouthwash in and then brush in addition to a regular brushing. It makes you feel really fresh.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

me?

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I do!! It loosens up the crap on your teeth and then it's easier to brush away!!

12 years ago | Likes 120 Dislikes 7

I'll take your advice. You seem like a reliable source.

12 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Really? I shall have to try this in conjunction with the consistent flossing routine I tell my dentist that I do every day.

12 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

But it also leaves a flouride coating that you'd immediately brush off, eliminating any benefit. When using after, it stagnates and cleans.

12 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

But it goes both ways.... If you have fluoride toothpaste, mouth washing after defeats the purpose of the fluoride so I prefer to ME b4

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I can't leave any of that crap in my mouth. I have to rinse my mouth out or else it will make me barf.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Only some brands (like ACT) have the fluoride. Plain Listerine doesn't, it just has alcohol. So just drink bourbon, brush teeth, use ACT.

12 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Dang you should work in ACT's marketing department

12 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That's what flossing before you brush does.

12 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 2

I use mouthwash before I floss, and then I brush my teeth.

12 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Living dangerously I see.

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You need jesus.

12 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

I've got Jesus, and good teeth.

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

who uses mouthwash at all? I prefer to floss my teeth. And brush my tongue.

12 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 6

You should still use a fluoride mouthwash.

12 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

It's not a big thing in my country. Is it an American thing? I just think it's nasty.

12 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

It's a dental thing; fluoride helps in preventing cavities.

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

so does brushing and flossing. Green mouthwash just doesn't seem good, it resembles dirty water to me.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

In Denmark, dentists advise against it. It contains anti-bacterials, and they are afraid it will lead to resistancy (?). Paste has fluoride.

12 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Most mouthwashes tell you to use it before you brush. Why would you use it after? It tastes super nasty then. Kinda like OJ after you brush.

12 years ago | Likes 92 Dislikes 16

They are usually both mint flavored. Why would that taste nasty?

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you use an enamel strengthening toothpaste like Sensodyne, or just a fluoride-based strengthening one, it would be prefered you (1)

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I have both kinds. TIL: very few people read the directions on their mouthwash or have any idea why they're using it.

12 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

You just made that up didn't you?

12 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

rinse with water or mouthwash pre-brushing so that the toothpaste has time to work (+20 mins after). If you rinse after you negate that. (2)

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Am I the only one that has always *loved* the taste of OJ after brushing..?

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I just feel like if I did that it would clean the top of any food on my teeth, not the tooth underneath... what would be the point? :P

12 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 2

It's not just for your teeth. Supposedly it also kills the bacteria in your mouth and also is good for your gums.

12 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Really?

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What mouthwash do you use? Using it after brushing helps keep your mouth clean overnight and such.

12 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

I had one of the whitening kinds that you were supposed to use before brushing

12 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Oh I can understand that.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

All the ones I've used say post-brushing. It's intended to remain lightly in the mouth.

12 years ago | Likes 52 Dislikes 2

I've definitely seen both before and after ones. Though I'm not sure what the difference is between them.

12 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Pre-brushing would loosen stuff between teeth, and maybe even soften plaque. Post-brush is supposed to leave a bit for protection.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

put mouthwash in a water bottle and drink it all the time, just to be sure

12 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Fluoride rinses are usually after.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Mouthwash contains a bit of flouride. (what the dentists use during cleanings) it's meant to get in the crevasses your

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

brush can't. It needs 30mins untouched to work.
