Some of my best memories. Want to get back into gaming. Xbox One? PS4? PC? Saved up and ready buy...

This is that one rich kid's room that lived on your block that everyone pretended to like because he got every new game that came out.

Yeah if your parents were ballin

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I knew a kid who's game room was this stocked. Hes been an entitled snob his whole life. Hasn't changed at all even in his 30s

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The real question, is that little red car under the vcr a cassette rewinder? LoL

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That’s my favorite Zelda he’s playing. Link to the Past. Super Nintendo. Hope they reboot that one for the Switch.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Switched from PS4 to PC. More, cheaper options. Still have it set up through my regular tv with wireless keyboard and mouse so no desk.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You ever start feeling nostalgic for a time you weren't around to see?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I know a lot of folks get cynical over this, but I'm genuinely curious to see what future "#nostalgia" posts will look like for now.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I dunno, I just assume it won't hold nearly as much value as this one

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Judging by the posters, I'm gonna say late 94-early 95.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

*Sees the Bruce Coville novel “My teacher is an Alien”* ...mah heart...mah soul

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

His parents must've been loaded

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

@OP Switch and a PS4. Ps4 if you want graphics, Switch for portability plus it has an asinine amount of games now, over 2000

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah I second that. Either go Switch/PC, or Switch/PS4. One for 1st party games and 2D games, the other for games that could use more power.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Just got Marvel Ult Alliance 3 tonight, sooooo good!

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I just realized I grew up super poor

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Me 2. Our NES was the Christmas and birthday present for both me and my brother. Plus my grandma chipped in. Collected cans to buy zelda.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My Teacher is An Alien! 1st book awesome, 2nd pretty good, 3rd meh and 4th HOLY FUCK that story got dark.

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Yeah, when their “world tour” squad basically watched the gamut of human beauty and human atrocities was nuts

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Also the scene where the former bully gets told his intelligence will drain breaks my heart

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That kid is rad, dude.

That's what makes it. La pièce de résistance.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That kid is rich, dude. FTFY

6 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Totally fresh

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That kid has divorced parents

6 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

pc with a $10 snes usb controller to play emulators with

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

TBH, a Bluetooth Xbox one controller does an amazing job on emulation for pretty much every system.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If possible, I'd recommend using an original controller with a USB adaptor. Much better feel and response compared to a new USB controller.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Already have SNES emulator on both PC and tablet for to go.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That kid is spoiled rotten and is probably a total asshole.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Maybe hes a make a wish kid?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh, dark. Good, now I like him.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've owned most consoles since NES and at this point in life I really appreciathe flexibility of the Switch. I use it far more than PS4.

6 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

I also do keep my PC up to date enough to play recent games at an acceptable graphic/fps tradeoff. I'd say switch or pc (or ps4 for rdr2).

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't see a Nintendo Power magazine. Kid needs to step up his game.

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Dude that wrote Ready Player One wanks to this.

6 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

He's about 10 years further back.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He talks about the Lord of the Rings movies so Cline's all over the map.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Did he mention them in the books, or just in the film? It's been a bit.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Book "I nodded. “It looks exactly like Rivendell in the Lord of the Rings movies.”"

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Streets of Rage best poster!

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I had Earthworm Jim poster above my bed at one point before I started having all posters that came with the games.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I've tried to recreate the joy of 80's-90's gaming by playing current gen, and I think I'm just too damn old now.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Same man. About a year ago I decided fuck it, I'll just buy a SNES and real games to play what I loved again. But it didn't stop there...

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Try emuvr if you have an Oculus rift, it's pretty fun

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I know what you mean. I've tried to recreate that feeling of being young and picking up my nes in the morning to play, it doesn't work

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Even got Earthworm Jim in there. Nice, +1.

6 years ago | Likes 116 Dislikes 1

the ps3 hd version is pretty good for an update as well.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

By far one of the best platform shooters ever

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I still have that game. When I finish move, Im going to hook my SEGA back up and start playing it again.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Also PC if you have the option.

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

One of the BEST games ever!

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

He thinks he‘s mighty fine!

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

PS4 and PC.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Just PC.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Miss out on some great games that are only on PS4 then.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

https://pcsx4.com/god-of-war-4-2018-pc-ps4-emulator/ Like this one? Nah, Im not missing out on anything.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well not everyone can afford a billion dollar computer to be able to run a ps4 emulator with an adequate framerate. Try again.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What? You said Im missing out, and I told you Im not. What do I need to try again?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Honestly with all that background why not try the Nintendo Switch

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

.....and also your parents are rich as fuck.

6 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

I was thinking about the same. Rich kid...

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My parents were so poor, and SNES was the only expensive thing we have in the house. I still have it 28 years later.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Chrono Trigger is out so Mid 90s. Secret of Mana, F Zero, Street Fighter, StarFox. The kid has good taste.

6 years ago | Likes 231 Dislikes 1

His parents also have a lot of money, that collection wouldn't be cheap.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I mean back in those days, the best games were also the most popular...

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

This kid was loaded. Well, his parents were.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I want that Chrono trigger poster

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Had a similar thought. Kid is playing SNES and Sega with a Virtual Boy waiting. Doesn't seem 80s, but still appreciate his choices. +1

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Also Super Metroid: 1994

6 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 0

Virtual Boy makes it 1995.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Secret of Mana was amazing and felt like it had ben designed specifically for me and my two brothers for co-op <3

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm so psyched Seiken Densetsu 3 (Trials of Mana) finally got a worldwide release.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No FF6.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This kid has rich parents. An Genesis AND a SNES? In my day you got one and made friends with someone who had the other.

6 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

My parents got me SNES first, and then got me the Genesis for cheap near the end of its cycle.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My neighbor and I swapped our SNES and Genesis on occasion. It was awesome suddenly having an entire new game collection to play.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Sonic 2 was awesome

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

PC

6 years ago | Likes 86 Dislikes 0

Agreed. Tons more games. Games are cheaper. Emulators. More controller options. You can even stream to TV's too. Upgradable.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

One word: emulators.

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Yes this!

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

PC and PS4 for the exclusives.

6 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

Yes PC all the way. Best exclusives and the consoles are very close to making PS5/X2. Likely making PS4/X1 obsolete.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

But Switch is great and just came out.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

2 and quarter years ago...

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Considering buying a ps4 just to play Bloodborne.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Worth it imo. If you love the souls series as much as me, then it's totally worth it. Just get a used one

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I love the souls games. Spent about 4000 hours in ds 1, 2 and 3. As judoking stated, bb is now available on pc via PS now!

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Bloodborne can can be played on PC through PS now. You dont need a ps4 to play it anymore.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Damn, that's what i call a useful reply! :-) You might have saved me a lot if money. Thanks buddy! Did you try PS now?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ps4 gets all the blockbuster games (Final Fantasy VIIA remake is an exclusive). However, i have a switch as well, and it's a fun system too

6 years ago | Likes 48 Dislikes 3

lol it is most definitely not exclusive

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Cant fucking wait for the FFVII remake. Omg

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

I'm already disappointed with the gameplay, they've changed everything!

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I think I can deal with the weird parasite eve gameplay, but they better let me fix Aeris's fucking name.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I would definitely pick Switch for the versatility. That, and how so many classics are getting released for it as downloadable games

6 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Cannot wait for the re release of zelda links awakening got the gf to preorder it for my birthday

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

What's your favorite games besides botw?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I mean, I love Okami and Bayonetta 2 for single. Death Squared, Wizard of Legend, and Mario Party for multi.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm also excited for Fire Emblem, Bayo 3, FF: Crystal Chronicles, Pokemon, Astral Chain, and the D&D-inspired bundle.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I've owned a switch for about 3 years now, Don't regret buying it. I play most third party games on my pc though.

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I like 3rd party games on Switch because I can play them on the go, but PC has tons more.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's mostly a framerate issue, a lot of third party games not made for the switch tend to have framerate bugs early on

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ah, I get it. I haven't had any problems so far, but I don't play a lot of 3rd party games unless they're multiplayer or like series I play.
