Films are shot at 24fps because people are lazy, and can't be arsed to switch away from the century old industry standard.
That is just blatantly false. 24 is still the standard mainly because of the amount of motion blur it offers. 30+ gives soap opera effect.
That's exactly what I'm talking about. That "soap opera effect" you speak of is people's association of higher frame rates with (1/2)
low quality broadcasts as a result of their higher fps (50 where I live). Motion blur is not a desirable trait, but people are used to it.

Snow changes a lot with weather conditions, all sorts of combos of dry/wet, hard/loose and so on. This type is called 'skare' in Norwegian.
Skare occurs when you get colder weather after a period of warm weather or rain so that the top layer freezes like this. Regular beneath.
