it was nice to see it on the screen, but I also remember being disappointed since I'd read the short story first, and then doubly so when I found out gibson wrote the screenplay. it took what was originally a nasty little story about two crooks blackmailing former clients until they twisted the wrong one, and turned it into saving the world from the modern wasting disease.
