He reminds me of a luxury liner on a luge course with Kuzco providing commentary---during shark week.

...or fairness... or morality... or truth...

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Maybe if Science published a Holy Book it would all make sense

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They should change that to Fox News doesn't know much

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Tides go in, tides go out. You can’t explain that.

2 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

Did someone just hear the moon fucking sigh?

2 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

" why does the Earth have a moon and Mars doesn't?" Except the two that it has.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Never a miscommunication.

Well, the beast part of science, it is a constant learning curve, and soon you know more than before! Keep it going!

F the GOP!

Me, whenever I hear or see Dumb Fux News content:

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

From @op's other post

2 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 1

they surely mean that it's just a one-off wave and not a sign of climate change; there must be a nice plot of peak temps per year somewhere

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

"Liberals blame the documented trend of unprecedented warmer global temperatures for current unprecedented warmer global temperatures."

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

what is wrong with our educational system? :o(

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The "we" is faux news and their viewers, not all of humanity.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

We literally know more about the world more than anyone had ever

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Gas lighting and manipulating is their strong points .

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Don't know much about history, don't know much biology. Don't know much about a science book, don't know much about the French I took...

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

His mom calling again

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Don't know much about history, don't know much biology.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Don't know much about a science book, don't know much about the french i took.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

But I know that I love you.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

And that big orange turd too.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Whats the context of this? Were they trying to discredit some scientific finding that opposes their agenda by pointing out that there are

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

many mysteries we havent solved yet?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Jesse Watters really wants to remind millions of people of that every single day that he's just fairly stupid.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And the DNA helix is turning the wrong way… 🧬

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

... what?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Imagine if DNA started out looking like a ladder. If you held onto the bottom and twisted the top counter-clockwise you'd get the helix. The image above would be the result of turning the top clockwise which isn't what DNA looks like. A trivial point but still important, like the Earth rotating backwards in The Daily Show intro.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

aye; u are right, i didnt realize that the small icon mcjuttscience posted is actually twisting the other way around :P also didnt know that fact XD

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I thought Science was, in fact, everything we know (thus far)

Of course he loves 'em, he loves himself after all.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Liar. President Bonespurs doesn't love anyone. Even Ivanka is just a possession to him.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Yeah, I feel like there's a solid case to be made that he's an unrepentant narcissist, and just uses words like that because he can conceptualize their meaning, but not because he truly understands what it means to love something/someone, as that requires a willingness to sacrifice on their behalf, something he's clearly incapable of

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Of all the things I can't believe he got away with saying, this was neither the worst nor the most surprising, but it was weird.

2 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

People act like he said he loves to keep people poorly educated, tho. But are we not supposed to love the uneducated? 🤣 They need love too!

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 8

found one of those loved ones.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I took it as "without the poorly educated, I wouldn't have a platform!" The thing about conservatism is that it requires a poor illiterate base to manipulate and point towards its enemies du jour

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Of course Trump says awful shit. I just think this sound bite wasn’t the best one to become an ongoing liberal quote. Just cause it seems like people misunderstand what the sentence actually means. I know it’s splitting hairs, but I’m a pedantic motherfucker I guess.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That is basically the context of his speech, I'd largely agree. He loves the poorly educated because they vote for him, not in any sort of charitable or sympathetic way.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fox news finally reporting facts?

2 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

They are probably reporting something along the lines of "Even scientists will tell you that they don't know much for certain, so why do we even listen to them!"

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

"Where does it come from???"

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

The tides come in, the tides go out… YOU CAN’T EXPLAIN IT!

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

JFC, is that real?

2 years ago | Likes 555 Dislikes 6

I'm guessing the context is more a discussion on how advanced science is and how we're just touching the tip of the iceberg of universal knowledge... I hope.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is this Mac's "Science is a liar sometimes." from Always Sunny... just with better graphics?

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Wow

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Taken a bit out of context, but yeah.

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Are you surprised Fox News doesn't know about science?

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

They are probably reporting something along the lines of "Even scientists will tell you that they don't know much for certain, so why do we even listen to them!"

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I mean, we know a fuckton about science. We know everything about science. Science may not know how the world works yet, but we know that we don't know that too!

2 years ago | Likes 58 Dislikes 0

Science knows it. We just might not know that science yet

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hey people, maybe stop being shocked, surprised or outraged by Fox News ? That’s what they thrive to generate on a daily basis..

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Science is scary

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Probably an attempt to undermine science, rather than an admittance.

2 years ago | Likes 326 Dislikes 0

True

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

"Science admits it doesn't know everything, all it has are theories" - that kind of bullshit, probably

2 years ago | Likes 105 Dislikes 0

[People say] "But evolution is only a theory!", which is true, I mean it is a theory and it's good they say that, I think, because it gives you hope, doesn't it? That they feel the same way about the theory of gravity and they might just float the fuck away... — Tim Minchin

2 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

*undermine specific parts of science that contradict conservative dogma. Not the science of, say, the drugs their advertisers are pushing.

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

So like only 90% of science?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Science did end up making Aristotle and others look like a bitch. Because science is a liar, sometimes.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Aristotle wasn't doing science. He was doing "making shit up and plastering a plausible explanation over top"

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Stupid science bitch couldn't even make I more smarter

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sadly yes

Damn, if their viewers could read they would be very confused right now.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Is this the guy who's mom phoned in and asked him to be, more honest about Joe Biden ?

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I hope that really happened

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yes, it really did.../gallery/Fc0S3vd

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That’s terrifying! And sadly unsurprising. Who was it that said, “I love the poorly educated”?

2 years ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 0
