Here's the 1" x 6" x 4' pine boards nailed together
The wood stain that I used
Also I beat it a few times with some chains, a hammer and some nails to make it look distressed
Finished the stain
Look at those dents
The chains won
I then took so white paint to begin the first part of the painting
Starting to look a little flag like
OMG 'Merica
I cut the stars out of painters tape
Taped out the outline of NYC pre 9/11
Finally sprayed it with some black spray paint
The final product
