None of this takes into account that I'd guess most soldiers would disobey an illegal order. I just don't see this becoming a civil war. Every red state has it's portion of blue and every blue state has its portion red. The battle lines are not drawn. Where would the front be?

We've already found out in CA that soldiers will follow orders, even when they're potentially illegal.
And when it does end up at civil war, there will be no front lines. It'll be tit-for-tat acts of terror and assassination. Think the Troubles in Ireland.

Maybe I'm naive but I think there's a huge difference between putting zip ties on protesters and shooting them dead. CA deployment was 5000 National Guard troops, there are 1.3 million active uniformed personnel in the US military plus another 800,000 in reserve. The world has gotten a lot smaller since The Troubles. I can't imagine allies just sitting on their hands if it comes to civil war.

Just my belief I guess. Not much different than believing the military would start shooting people on US soil because Hegseth told them to. I imagine there are hundreds maybe thousands of personnel that joined to learn military tactics for civil war but there are 1.3m active duty soldiers with another 800,000 in reserve. The bad guys are massively outnumbered.

I don't know this guy, seems like an ad for an ambulance chaser. If you read the comments from veterans on this vid you'll see its not that cut and dried. One soldier disobeying an order is a far cry from a the whole company doing it. Plus this isn't some far off desert or jungle its downtown NYC, LA, Atlanta, etc.

I have my doubts that we’ll even get to the election phase. I expect him to roll out more troops to ‘assist’ ICE in predominantly blue cities/states, which will cause more protests. He’ll then declare all protesters are domestic terrorists and invoke the Insurrection Act, declaring martial law and suspending the elections indefinitely.
