Green Sea Turtle
When born, green sea turtles are only 5 cm (2 in) long. But they grow up to 1.5 meters (5 ft) in length and can weigh over 300 kg (700 lbs), making them the largest of the hardshell sea turtles. Reaching speeds of up to 56 km/h (35 mph), their streamlined shell and paddle-like flippers aid in their ability to swim quickly and with grace. Green turtles only venture onto land to lay their eggs. Females lay eggs every 2-4 years once they are sexually mature. Green sea turtles make their home in tropical and subtropical oceans worldwide, they feed on crabs, jellyfish, and other creatures as juveniles. As adults they become herbivores, primarily eating sea grasses and algae.

Why is there a picture of a pair of glasses, but the title says "turtle"

A dying breed. Sex is determined by the temperature of the nest. Hotter earth = more females. No males = no turtles.

These turtles look like NPC's in a video game who give you a piece of their shell, in order to craft the endgame's ultimate armor.

That’s some great camouflage.

They also will haul out to sleep at night. If you get up early and walk the beach you can find them sometimes.

There's an old saying: 1 sea turtle post, good. 2 sea turtle posts, there's a shark post nearby.
Gyinagal
Really? No one’s said it? Alright. I want to sea more turtle posts.

Yea but honestly, fuck deep water and the scary shit deep down.

We can do little things to help such as only buying seafood that is sustainably caught. Commercial fishing has done irreversible damage.

Plastic is the biggest threat imo

We can.

As a collective. Unfortunately, we're pretty rubbish as a collective. :(

Recyle reduce reuse could help. Plus take care of our rivers. Everything goes downstream
