I'm sure no one asked you to do that

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Great Scott!

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

lmao A for effort michael

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why don't they recycle? I thought all civilised places did. Oh - that will explain it

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 4

I’m rewatching for the 100th time ?my partner thinks there is something wrong with me

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The follow up line makes this even better, "8 years!"

5 years ago | Likes 170 Dislikes 1

In an earlier season you can see Whites & Color recycling bins near the shelves while Micheal crawls around on the ground

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You would think a paper company would be all about it

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

More, inkjet or laser print though. Inkjet ink screws up the machines

The weird thing, is during my school years, we did separate paper based on plain white, or colours. I no longer remember why, though...

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wow I never noticed that! Haha perfect

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Tbf recycling has been a lie this whole time (it was only matginally ptofitable due to China)

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Metals recycling is still pretty good I think. everything else not so much.

I hope this is a joke

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Well no shit. But apparently you aren’t alone in your lack of humor.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

gotta put the /s to indicate sarcasm or joke. lot of trolls on Imgur lately my dude,.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

you don't do much laundry, do you?

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Why? You’re telling me the only reason you don’t believe in segregation is because we are people, and not clothes? /s

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Guess there was too much nuance for this crowd.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

you are correct. with the state of Imgur comments these days, all nuance died a long time ago. no hard feelings

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

On this site, buzzwords make people’s brains automatically turn off to logical thought and humor

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Didn't he say he'd been doing it for 8 years or something?

5 years ago | Likes 566 Dislikes 2

“8 years down the drain” I believe he said?

5 years ago | Likes 182 Dislikes 0

"I'm sure no one asked you to do that" - Pam

5 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 0

There’s an episode from a much earlier season where Michael is crawling on the ground and passes the bins marked “whites” and “colors”

5 years ago | Likes 83 Dislikes 0

That's attention to detail

5 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

What a racist.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 15

The times he has been a little off the mark he always is shown to be corrected, and those are usually his cringiest moments.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

More like laundry. Don't mix white with colours. Some (new) coloured fabrics can share their colour with other fabrics in the washer.

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Yeah I got that. Was making a shitty joke.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Uh... I’m supposed to separate them? Cause I’ve never done that and nothing bars happened yet.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It depends on what you're washing. Like don't wash a tie dyed T shirt with ur whites the dye can ruin them

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There are some dyes that are able to "leak". Most of them are DIY. After 1st wash of new item it doesn't really matter any more.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have a theory that this show hated its fans and wanted them uncomfortable, not entertained.

5 years ago | Likes 378 Dislikes 57

That’s British humour I’m afraid. Ricky gervais and Steve marchent are masters at it.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Some people just love to laugh at the absurdity of human behaviour. That’s what most comedy is and what cringe comedy does ad absurdum

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

you should watch the Inbetweeners (the British version). That show THRIVES on making its viewers uncomfortable every episode.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I have a theory that this is a documentary for most adult life.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Watch the original version. That’s the entire intent.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Did you ever watch the Original? That was uncomfortable.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It was cringe comedy at its finest.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

True. i loved it when it was on the air. But the political correct climate of today makes me cringe everytime I watch it now. Cant do it.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I started off hating this show especially after the first couple seasons, I stuck around and watched to the end and ended up loving it

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ever get spanked during sex? Uncomfortable, but feels good at the same time. Some people like it, some don't.

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

If you really want to feel uncomfortable check out the British version

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Definitely sounds like Ricky Gervais

5 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

I couldn't stand the office but he nailed the line between depressing cringe and loveable funny with "extras".

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Scott’s. Tots.

5 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

I didnt see this one and commented the same exact episode

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's British Humour for you.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It doesn't translate well. I'm a fan of British sitcoms generally.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You mean the Scotts tots episofe?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I mean the series.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

To be fair

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Definitely agree for the gervais version. You're supposed to hate the characters. In the American version you learn to love them.

5 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

I never learned. They were all awful.

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 9

Don't ever watch Arrested Development, Sunny in Philly, Broad City, Workaholics, or Schitt's Creek then! just off the top of my head...

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

How much did you watch? Takes at least a season or 2 for the real character development to sink in

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

You should see the original British version.

5 years ago | Likes 46 Dislikes 0

Get the guitar

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

1000% more akward

5 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

I can watch the US version but I couldn’t make it through a full episode of the British one.

5 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

I was the opposite. At least the British one is funny cringe. The US one just made me sad. That’s after watching season 3 mind you

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

And it leaves you wanting more, not hoping for the original spark to return

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I can't do the cringe. It's why I never cared for Meet the Parents. Every possible decision is just the worst case scenario.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

But there’s something about the dry British humor that dampens the cringe. Michael Scott just made me sad that he exists. Idk

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Its creators are Gervais and Merchant, you have only scratched the surface lol

5 years ago | Likes 138 Dislikes 1

The original UK version. The US version decided to go for zaniness and looking at the camera in lieu of punchlines

5 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Ok but there were also a lot more US seasons. Let's not lie and say Tim didn't start looking at the camera before Jim

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Because the US like to milk things dry. UK shows focus on quality over quantity.

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

no arguments there

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Please elaborate on that? I’d like to hear more.

5 years ago | Likes 56 Dislikes 1

Its cringe humor that is awkward if you saw it real life when mich had beep beep stress booper when stanley had heart attack, lift fat dude

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Cringe humour. Like The Inbetweeners, great show but I can't watch it

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Scott's tots.

5 years ago | Likes 149 Dislikes 0

Ugh.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You gave me a goosebump

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I’ve seen the whole show countless times, and I still die a little inside every time that episode comes on

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

This episode is my single least favorite episode of any show I’ve ever watched.

5 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

I literally hate that

5 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

See??

5 years ago | Likes 62 Dislikes 13

It's a sound theory but I think the point was taking all the stereotypes of the work place and exaggerating them... Which is mostly negative

5 years ago | Likes 49 Dislikes 0

But then you inject each character with their own likeable arc to give them happiness. So there's no growth that's earned they just stumbled

5 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

Isn't this kinda the reality around us at a smaller scale? Nobody is wholly good or bad, just a few arcs that make us so

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

On to all the good things that get. That's why it's so funny but also so hard to say any character is good... They can't be negative
