I've always found it interesting/weird how so many "Christians" make such a big deal of Christmas, but treat Easter like just a slightly more important weekend than others but really not all that much more, when Easter is pretty much the culmination of everything the story is all about, and that really should be the most important holiday all year.

It was colonized by religious extremists, and then a bunch of not-quite-as-shitty-but-still-entirely-shitty people said "Let's form a new government that still allows slavery, but maybe we should keep the religious extremists out of it". Then over time, away from the extremists' influence, they decided to nationalize the slavery. And the religious extremists got mad, and are now tearing everything down to privatize slavery again.

A fair number of Christians don't believe that's true. I'm not saying I agree with them, I'm just saying - a lot of Christians view their "God" as true and real and correct and "Allah" as a fully separate entity that is a false deity.

...I feel like you've missed my point, but anywho. Yes. Iran is very heavily Muslim. But they are not *Arab*. They don't typically say Allah, which is Arabic. They say Khoda(God)/Baga(Lord), which are Persian. They will on occasion say Arabic phrases that incorporate Allah, such as inshallah or mashallah, but they tend to catch themselves and prefer using Persian. But those that do it tend to view it more like a colloquialism/idiom such as an Atheist(Me) saying "Jesus Christ" or "Oh my god".
