#2 these were my cats when we adopted a stray that showed up on our back porch. But really he adopted us. He went on to be their greatest lover and protector and grooms and loves on them and they worship him. This guy, on the left

#1 fun fact - this is even funnier in Polish, as a knob/valve is "kurek" and a hen is "kura" - quite close - no surprise hens are mislead ;-)

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

In German it is even funnier, rooster is Hahn and faucet is also Hahn.

Orangutan. And he's quite thoughtful.

"Mango's log: Forest Date Twenty Twenty Four Oh Five Point One. The humans have finally given me a washcloth. I thought I'd never see one. But now I have it in hand. It is mine. And I will care for it. No one else gets to use it. I will cleanse my brow whenever the need arises. Mango Out." πŸ˜πŸ˜„

Cocks: You wot mate

2 years ago | Likes 56 Dislikes 2

Nah, those are hens. Probably trained to red water nipples. They are expecting lots of water from this one.

Lipton Iced Tea Bear is the prequel to Cocaine Bear I guess?

#10 the last time I saw this someone posted that the photographer glued the lizard to the branch so it couldn't fight or escape.

That’s a combination of unethical, un-empathetic and downright evil that I struggle to comprehend.

What the fuuuuuuuck

2 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 1

I dunno; we can't see its hind feet but both of its front feet are free. Guess we need more context.

2 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 1

If you watch the full video, there's a portion where you can see the glove of someone holding the lizard in place. The lizard is in shock panicking to escape. And it just gets pinned in place for a mantis to eat it alive.

2 years ago | Likes 66 Dislikes 0

Nice, thanks.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Actually, Carol wouldn't start vomiting water until a human snaps her neck.

2 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Depends: often times, if you have a large setup, you will have several spigots you leave open, with a secondary valve further upstream so you can turn them all on or off at once. This lets you still be able to shut off an individual faucet if it needs repairs or isn't going to be used for a while (like if you sold off a batch of chickens that you might replace next season), without having to manually turn each one off and on every day. I just made up this fact, but is SOUNDS convincing.

Everyone: Aww, that's so cute!

Turtle: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH

2 years ago | Likes 191 Dislikes 0

Yeah if you've ever seen the Island of giant insects anime movie you'd be screaming too, it's horrifying, like one of the first deaths is the butterfly's.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What, we just gonna ignore the Mantis?

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Glad I'm not the only one who thought this. I even made a little 3 panel comic in my head where the first pic is the turtle with butterflies, second showing watchers going "awwww", and then 3rd a close up of the turtles face in eyes wide open horror going: AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

2 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Eh. Symbiotic. If the turtle was bothered whatsoever he'd be eating butterflies or dipping into the water 8" to his right.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

"Drink my tears, I have so much!"

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Butterflies consume tears of reptiles to get sodium and other similar minerals for their metabolism and egg production.

2 years ago | Likes 57 Dislikes 0

Significantly better than what I thought. I thought they were those flesh eating butterflies and the turtle's head had an infection or something that made it smell like rotting meat.
