We asked for a livable wage first don't be surprised when shit like this starts to happen.

Burning down a warehouse won't hurt the rich execs one bit, but it will destroy the jobs of hundreds of the lowest paid workers.

Given who owns the press would not want copy cats, I hope this is just the iceberg’s tip.

This didn't take long. Just like Luigi's jury, nullification is clearly warranted.

Only you...can prevent warehouses.

I'm loving the increase in Luigic actions.

Good, the next one hopefully hits directly in his chest and explodes into a better society.

6 In 3 days so far. Not on the news

13 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Countless instances if you include the ones that have been happening in China for quite a while now. Also not in the news. Slightly different because it's usually from people simply not getting paid at all for months rather than just low wages. Shareable sources other than friends are hard to come by, but these guys have multiple videos on them. https://youtu.be/8S4OcKbcBH4

News still saying his motive was "unclear" while the MF said about 30 times all you had to do was pay us a living wage.

This just plays into the hands of rich capitalists. This is all the excuse they needed to ramp up replacing humans with robotic workers. I know you think you have some sort of power in this class struggle, but you don't - unless you are willing to a hell of a lot further than this. But you are the same people who won't even do a general strike to end fascism in your own country.

shut the fuck up

15 hours ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

Yes, this was the excuse and not them just wanting to do it and being able to at any moment.

10 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And who will protect the robotic workers from burning warehouses?

12 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

robots don't buy the shit they produce

15 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

This is true, but governments will buy bots for war and domestic people control. They will also spend TRILLIONS on compute. Nobody in big business cares who can't afford their toys. They only care about the entities that can.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. I fully support the dude's message. But his actions are still wrong. But the internet seems to be fully supporting his actions too.

15 hours ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 6

The reason the internet is supporting his actions is because it didn't harm anyone and it sent a message. Sometimes you have to prove that you're willing to cause the damage. Threats are meaningless without action. Talk of guillotines is pointless unless you guillotine some people.

his actions are only wrong if you're completely fatalist about impacting the future in any direct way except voting

Neah, we need to do more like he did. You won't force change by being nice. You force change when you make them fear something worse.

When it breaks down it all breaks down. I don’t want to see that happen but *gestures at everything*

Someone should probably tell the rich that workers banding together to present formal address of grievances is the alternative we worked out a long time ago to breaking down the factory owner's front door and beating him to death in front of his family? I feel like they forgot. - Holden Shearer on Twitter

Glad I’m not the only one. I support the message. But the warehouse and inventory were both insured. This won’t inconvenience the execs a bit - only the co-workers and the customers.

Laws are put in place in good faith. Once people's livelihoods are taken away, the good faith is lost, and we go back to the guillotine to make them remember their place.

He did more damage to his coworkers' livelihoods than to any executives' income. They'll not miss a paycheck.

While oay offs will prob happen. People don't get fired because the building burned. That's a massive company

13 hours ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Agreed. It's still destruction of their property, so insurance or not, they still need to go through getting it all built back up. Do it enough times and they won't get insured or insurance will cost much more, and they'll start listening

I think people are just so utterly sick of not seeing anyone visibly fighting against all this bullshit. Seeing someone do a big flashy action, regardless of its actual effectiveness, is at least a sign someone is trying to fight back.

The time for peace has passed. They squandered it... and so did we.

"when shit like this starts to happen" always the passive tense. Why not "we will burn stuff down" too on the nose for you?
