#2 I mean, this was one of Steve Jobs big points at the iTunes Store announcement, that you could just buy the good songs from each album.

#2 How many times did you buy a CD for the one track and found that the single was the worst track on the album? I can think of a few of these. Papa Roach, Finger 11, Gorillaz.
I also once asked for a Harvey Danger CD and got PJ Harvey and loved it. Some of those random albums I got became staples in changing my tastes in music.

#35 in america they would come after you for the cost of the train ride. Then never show up again, arrest you for not attending school (if you were going to a public school) then garnish your parents wages for a "train stop renovation" never begin construction, pocket the money. Then serve you with an imminent domain order, seize you assets throw you on the street then sell your land to some frakking company that then polluted the town until all elderly and kids are dead, blame it on the girl go

#9 It would be human ego to deny the possibility of sentience/sapience in a machine. It is hubris to believe we are smart enough to produce that machine. We don't even fully understand our own brains or intelligence, and a bunch of tech bros think they can just "oops we created a new life form"? Nah, we are getting the facade of humanity as a ploy to strip it from the majority of the population so billionaires can save more of their money by not paying labor wages.
senyu
To be fair, life as we know & currently understand it was also a bunch of oopsies that build off each other.

#2 too fucking many. Reason number 57 why I have trust issues. (57 out of, like, 43,686. But I encountered that one early.)

#2 I got an album based on the intro to "The Misfits" and discovered not only were the rest of the songs not to my taste, but honestly the rest of THAT song kinda wasn't either. But I did enjoy the show more than Barry likes cheese.

#36 never forget returns were only made in the 90s to cut jobs and hours. Bagger used to walk out with you, if you wanted, help you place bags in your vehicle, and return the cart. They told us it was to keep prices low. They absolutely pocketed the difference and made shoppers do the jobs of those reduced or fired, and guilted us into "doing the right thing." Cui bono? Who benefits? Always ask.
baconandmorebacon
People have been giving us Germans shit for decades and now everyone wants to the next Hitler. Putin wants Lebensraum in the west, Trump wants a dictatorship build on hatred for minorities, Netanyahu wants a genocide. How about you get your own ideas instead of copying others!
ThatQuietlySmirking
You guys probably have some crazy compound word for that.
TheMightyMollusk
If they were smart enough to form their own ideas, they still wouldn't because they're as lazy as they are evil.

Here's a band that released an album a few years ago that was an intentional throwback to the pop-rock of the late 90s/early 2000s.

100% correct.

That's also what lead to the rise of the mp3 and Napster. But since Lars is a coward he went after the fans instead of the labels.

#2 Actually the opposite has happened most of the time. I found bangers they never played on the radio. The only exception I remember was "A Place in the Sun" by Lit. There's very good reason why "My Own Worst Enemy" is basically their only popular song.
unluckyandbored
#2 Bought Alien Ant Farm's album because of their Smooth Criminal cover. The rest of the album was ASS.
NervAssEva
#2 I usually found random songs on the album I liked more than what was popular on the radio.
Relictivity
Sometimes the best songs were b- sides on those $10 import singles… which are totally worthless now.
somnif
I usually couldn't afford whole albums so I just bought stuff from the singles rack.
Einhander696
I Believe In A Thing Called Love is the only The Darkness song I've heard on the radio, and it was in the bottom 5 on Permission to Land. Wall to wall bangers.
Superchief86
If I heard a song I liked from a band I didn't know, I'd download more of their stuff off limewire. If it turned out I liked them I'd buy their albums.
MapleSyrupMafia
My trick for making sure the album is worth it is: Is it Jinjer? Is it Bloodywood? Yup, it's worth buying the album!
pullingsixty
#7 Pithy but doubtful. I don't actually know the answer but wouldn't you just catch up to light particles that were speeding away from you?
senyu
I would imagine you'd still be in darkness but IDK. If you are catching up to light speeding away, it's not like you'd see the object they left which is behind you. You'd probably only see the light that is heading toward you, so maybe visible light ahead and total darkness on the sides and back?

DerpMeister
May I ask what you think chicken soup is made of?
PwnageHobo
She didn't even add pepper, ffs. That's not normal
frf211Diver
I make several types of soups, and texture is important. Mushrooms, chickpeas and any meats shouldn't be boiled to mush in my opinion.
Cooked separately and added when it's close to done.
Obviously your mileage may vary, but I'd rather bake it and add it than what she's doing.
AbolishNuance
Not everyone likes chicken soup.
