GERMAN SPEAKERS!

Nov 16, 2020 8:29 AM

Recently moved to Vienna. Trying to get through all of the bureaucracy to register myself as resident etc. The covid situation has complicated things, and I’m getting pissed off with the lack of help I’m getting from the municipal departments.

For the love of coitus.

There is probably an unemployed native speaker familiar with bureaucracy can help you for a little money - you could help each other out.

Behave yourself so you don’t get deported.

Hahaha you’re right. To be fair though, I’m from Australia, so I don’t know how’d they’d deport me to a country that won’t let anyone in

Yeah, as per my last email is my favourite professional bitchslap line. Or "if you will refer to our last communication regarding this"

I use "as per my last email" and never realised it was bitchy. Explains why I didnt make friends well in offices. I am today years old.

Yeahhh... I mean it's basically saying "Were you literate, you would already have this information and were you competent, would have

already acted upon it. Please learn to read, and get to work."

Agreed 100%. It’s not bitchy, morons just need reminders.

Admittedly I used to work with a lot of morons.... but I also used this on customers in some jobs when just updating them. Oops.

Clearly I should have been using "further to my last email"... what's worrying is no manager called me out on it despite stalking our mail.
