Japan actually has quite a few very active volcanos…Sakurajima is in the far south located in Kagoshima and is considered one of the most beautiful active volcanoes in the world….

Also a struggling artsy type here….
I make original postcards crafted on eco-friendly Japanese paper!
They are great to send to friends or little accents to display around the home!

Would mean the world if you check them out!

Volcanic lightning is super interesting to me... it's like static electricity on crack!!!

Oh god

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I used to live in that county; there's just constant ash in the air. But it never erupted like that while I was there. :(

It must be erupting multiple times then? /gallery/lfRTW0m

There is a beautiful marimba piece about its 1914(?) eruption titled Eruption of Sakurajima. https://youtu.be/QjlzHecpT60

Wasn't this in 2019?

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Was this something they had some head of time warning/signs of possible eruption or a "Holy shit! Never saw that coming!" eruption?

If we didn't get one after a Japanese earthquake involving nuclear radiation and a tsunami we ain't never getting one.

3 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Isn't she Paris Hilton?

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That’s a face I haven’t seen in a while... what she up to these days??

3 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

She had a cooking thing on YouTube for a second

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Got kicked out of Hilton inheritance, but used her fame to launch some product lines & made millions, and married some finance dude.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

She had a kid

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Whoa really? I hope she gives it more love than she got.

3 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Dang, what a dramatic and beautiful eruption.

Followed by disgust!

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Reminds us that we are guests on this planet.

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Ah yes. The classic textbook/anime eruption. All volcanos should be modified to erupt like this

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I guess too much MagmaHub !

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's what she said

3 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Is that lightning? Like... dramatic AF

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Lots of eruptions have lightning. The one last year in the SE Pacific maxed out the detectors at something like 400k/minute

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's neat! Ty.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yea! the little bits if magma raining down are mildly terrifying…lol

3 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 0

It's the lightning that gives it that apocalyptic feel for me.

Because you’re a virgin?

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What? No, I've had the sex before. It's because I crave the heat from the lava, it warms my cold heart.

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Oh ok! You aren’t a virgin who wants to be sacrificed to the hungry liquid hot core of earth? …So you know boobs feel like big bags of sand?

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have my own boobs, I'm very familiar with what they feel like. More like bags of silt or clay.

The fact that the earth has pimples is awesome

3 years ago | Likes 553 Dislikes 9

Most of em underwater. That's how islands form.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Jokes aside, it is awesome. The movement of magma under the earth fuels our magnetic field which protects our atmosphere from the sun.

3 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 1

Any fans of Rosanne Rosanna Danna?

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Earth didn't pop a pimple, it ejaculated fertile land for growth. :P

3 years ago | Likes 69 Dislikes 1

Like a mold spore?

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Negative! Lava is super inhospitable. Def just earth puss.

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

It's not fertile by itself. It needs turbation and erosion. Newly formed lava beds are sterile for millions of years.

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

What would a lamepickle know about fertile ejaculate?

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

If that's the Earth's pimple then what is a subduction zone

3 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1
