#5 Integza makes awesome videos.

Coincidentally I used this cooling effect in the flamethrower jubblies. If the ladies go too hard on the triggers, they'll freeze their tits off.

#5 is cool as hell, but when you're fueling the engine with liquid O2 and liquid H2, using them as coolant pre-combustion is just practical design.

3D printing the entire engine in different metals/designs is really awesome too.

Regenerative cooling is prominent on the F-1 engines used on the Apollo missions.

The scream is added in. In the full video he just casually pulls his hand out.

1 month ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Yeah the scream is Tom from Tom and Jerry.

Little kids pull exactly zero of their punches. Because they don't even know when they're swinging

this is a most excellent way of putting it!

#1 ive seen this before, but ive never understood what the plan was. Were they trying to roll the car over? If they were just trying slide it over, why not stop when it started to roll?
Either way opening the door waa dumb.

1 month ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I have no idea but i'm p sure the one guy's hand was trapped in the door frame and that's why he went up with it. I'm glad he didn't get crushed.

#11 Ahh EVO Moment 37, a.k.a., the Daigo Parry. I think a lot of us have practically memorized that sequence by now haha.

1 month ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

And context for anyone who doesn't know: Justin (playing as Chun-Li) had launched a "Super Art" move, which deals damage even when blocked. Daigo (playing as Ken) had to *parry* the start of the Super Art in advance, and then needed to correctly parry each of the 14 subsequent attacks that came from the move. THEN he still needed to attack Justin to bring him down without taking a single hit in the process.
It's the ultimate clutch moment.

1 month ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

A lot of people see this as a feat of skill without realizing the level of mental chess daigo played. He got hit with the super twice already but when Justin tried to close out the round with a few "safe" attacks daigo chiseled away at his life lead with really bold moves, causing Justin to be backed into a spot where he felt he had to use a super. Then anticipating the super coming, daigo shuffled back and forth since in order for the parry to work against that super he would have had to

1 month ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Been pressing forward when it came out. If not, he would have blocked the super and died. But all this mental chess is not as easy to appreciate for the non FGC as much as the flashy parries.

1 month ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Yeah thanks for that, some of that is nuance I haven't even seen before when reading other people talk about it.
I know very little about fighting games, but I can tell you all about the inner workings of Super Metroid if you wanted. 😛

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Sure, the mental chess part is what got me interested in fighting games... Well, one of them in particular. I didn't have an appreciation of all of it until I started to see some of the breakdown of matches explaining the depth of strategy. I started going to tournaments and now a few years in, I even got to know daigo. Pretty cool stuff. I'll let you know if I pick up Super Metroid
