As much I like MorningMark's work.... isn't this all a bit assumptive? Owl house is, as I understand it as someone who's country never aired it, finished and more allows fandom lore.

The internet has made more with less. There are already pieces of fan art doing the rounds thanks to a French commercial featuring an animated wolf that is, I believe, less than two minutes in length.

A little bit but...ehh...the gap between the pilot and more could be very big, so some fancomics built on guesses are fine. moringmark's owl house comics bounce between a couple different universes in additon to the main one based on the show's ending/future. This can just be an alternative universe too, provided glitch picks up the show in the first place.

If you go backwards through their Owl House comics made while the show was in production, there'd occasionally be one that was a bit speculative that the show ended up contradicting. It's no big deal, as long as you remember it's really all just a fan of various shows goofing around.

While I understand the sentiment and don’t disagree with the logic I think that these are fine because they also bring more awareness and help keep fans engaged while we wait for more content. Basically I don’t feel these are competing against the actual show but I do hope there’s nothing in the actual show that has to be changed because of these comics.

they also seem to largely stay away from addressing the main plot, and are instead just fun little one offs, so they aren't intruding on whatever Dana's plan is.
